Nothing has been said on the matter, I do believe all we've been told on the subject is that it is a Spike developed game that will be like Tenkaichi in controls.
Ok, so its a possible chance that it is another raging blast despite RB2 not selling so well?

As you can see, I really want ZBR to be ported. I really hope this is a ZBR port under spike's development.

I'm sure they could do something where particular transformations are permanent once you make them. I think Shin Budokai 2 did something like that with the likes of Ultimate Gohan and Majin Vegeta.
Even earlier than that, Shin Budokai 1 had it so that once you transformed into Ultimate Gohan, Majin Vegeta, Piccolo fused with Kami, Cooler, Freeza and Cell's Final Forms, you wouldn't power down. I may be forgetting one or two, but you get it.
Actually, that first appeared in Budokai 3.

I won't make a character wish list, but I would love to play as old King Piccolo.
Was he ever playable in a fighting game?

I think the old Version of him was the alternate outfit in a few games....and also possibly Revenge of King Piccolo. [the old version]

I agree with your roster the only thing you forgot was Oozaru for Kid Goku (DB) and Kid Gohan. I also would add like what others have said the remaining Shadow Dragons and imo that would be huge selling point since not only have they not been playable (minus Nouva) but they are major villians not henchmen.

I'm working with the assumption that the game will only cover DBZ, because we have only been shown Z characters and haven't been told otherwise. I won't be including giants on the list because these are the guys I want playable, and we don't know if the Oozaru we saw for the trailer was playable, or just a boss battle or something. Obviously those with giant forms would gain them if they turn out to be playable in the game, and Dr. Uiro, Hildegarn and Tapion could be added in as well. If the game is shown to have characters from DB or GT, I'd rework the list.

1. Son Goku -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3
2. Son Gohan (Kid)
3. Son Gohan (Preteen) -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2
4. Son Gohan (Teen) -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Ultimate
5. Son Gohan (Future) -- Base, Super Saiyan
6. Son Goten (Kid) -- Base, Super Saiyan
7. Son Goten (Teen) -- Base, Super Saiyan
8. Vegeta -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan grade 2, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3
9. Trunks (Kid) -- Base, Super Saiyan
10. Trunks (Teen) -- Base, Super Saiyan
11. Trunks (Future/Sword) -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3
12. Trunks (Future/Fighting) -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan grade 2, Super Saiyan grade 3
13. Vegetto -- Base, Super Saiyan
14. Gogeta -- Base, Super Saiyan
15. Gotenks -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3
16. Piccolo
17. Kuririn
18. Yamcha
19. Tenshinhan
20. Chaozu
21. Videl
22. Mr. Satan
23. Bardock
24. Paikuhan
25. Tarble
26. Uub (Kid)
27. Pan (Kid)
28. Garlic Jr. -- Base, Super
29. Saibaiman
30. Raditz
31. Nappa
32. Tullece
33. Vegeta (Prince)
34. Dodoria
35. Zarbon -- Base, Transformed
36. Gurd
37. Reacoom
38. Butta
39. Jheese
40. Captain Ginyu
41. Freeza -- 1st Form, 2nd Form, 3rd Form, True Form, 100% Power
42. Freeza (Mecha)
43. King Cold
44. Lord Slug
45. Coola -- Base, Transformed
46. Coola (Mecha)
47. Jinzoningen 13 -- Base, Merged
48. Jinzoningen 14
49. Jinzoningen 15
50. Jinzoningen 16
51. Jinzoningen 17
52. Jinzoningen 18
53. Jinzoningen 19
54. Jinzoningen 20
55. Cell -- Imperfect, Semiperfect, Perfect, Buff Perfect, Super Perfect Form
56. Cell Jr.
57. Broli -- Base, Super Saiyan, "Legendary" Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3
58. Hatchihyack
59. Bojack -- Base, Transformed
60. Pui Pui
61. Yakon
62. Dabra
63. Vegeta (Demon Prince) -- Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2
64. Majin Buu (Fat)
65. Majin Buu (Pure Evil)
66. Majin Buu (Evil) -- Base, Gotenks Absorbed, Gohan Absorbed
67. Majin Buu (Pure)
68. Janenba -- Transformed
69. Abo
70. Kado
71. Aka

Secret Characters
S1. Z -- Base, Super Neko Majin
S2. Kurieza -- 1st Form, True Form
S3. Onio -- Base, Super Saiyan
S4. Majin Ozotto

For certain characters, alternate costumes can be used for "new" characters without taking up a slot. Gohan and Videl can have their Saiyaman costumes with helmet/bandanna and all, and if Gohan transforms he can lose the headgear like characters do in RB2 after taking a bar or so of damage. Bio Broli can be a costume usable only from the Character Select screen for his "LSS" or SS3 transformation, as he wouldn't be able to revert back anyway. Gohan's Ultimate form is fine as a transformation as long as he can't revert back to a previous form. That kind of stuff. lol

@ TheDevilsCorpse I like your roster too if this game is just surrounding Z witch I hope it isnt. My only problem is with the seperate Vegetas, now I know your probably on the side of that his personality and what not was completely different and I understand that but I still dont agree that they should have different slots. I think it should be that you could select witch era of Vegeta you want to play as but it would be all on ONE character slot. Like you could hit start when selecting Vegeta and you could choose which era you want to play as but nothing would change but his daiolog when opening and ending the fights. The "eras" would divided into three options which would be "Bad" and we all know thats his debut attitude cold and ruthless, the second would be called "neutral" and that would be his Cell saga and early Boo saga attitude being slightly evil and mostly good but still stuck on his grudge with Goku and the final "era" would be called "good" which obviously consist of his attitude at the end of Z and GT (assuming that its in the game). Now even though u could alter "eras" of Vegeta all of his moves and transformation would still be available.

Something like this has been done in Mortal Kombat 9. The characters Cyrax and Sektor are normally robots but they have alternate costumes in which they are human again. When you select these alternates they have different battle daiolog and even do some of there moves differently example being that Cyrax in his human for throws elixer bombs from his waste instead of having regular bombs launch (<------ har har) from his chest and same thing goes for Sektor he shoots rockets from his wrist guns instead having them come from his chest like in his robot form.

You've got me all wrong. I'm working under the assumption that Spike didn't combine the different Vegeta's when they changed from Tenkaichi 3 to Raging Blast (besides the Cell and Buu Arc versions), so I'm figuring they won't this time either.

For a situation like Vegeta, I would prefer if the three versions were a single character and his costume would dictate which personality/quotes/fighting style he used. But once again, this is Spike, so I doubt they will, meaning I just separated them. If they were willing to combine them then you could condense my list by two. It would be pretty awesome to have a "Majin" Vegeta that could range from Base to SS3, or the same for his Saiyan Arc personality.

That wasn't OLD Piccolo Daimao, that was the young Piccolo Daimao. I'm assuming Wobbuffet meant he wants to play as him before he regained his youth, when he still looked like a prune.

That's exactly what I meant.

Old Piccolo was once an invincible boss in Advance Adventure, but he wasn't playable.

The only game I know of him being playable in is Revenge of King Piccolo/Tenkaichi Daibouken. The game lets you play the versus mode as: Goku, Kuririn, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chaozu, Jackie Chun, General Blue, Tao Pai Pai, Murasaki, Akkuman, Mummy-kun, Grandpa Son Gohan, Tambourine, Drum, Piccolo Daimao (Old), Piccolo Daimao (Young)

In Tenkaichi 3, Piccolo Daimao's alternate costume makes him look like he's his older self, so I think that's what Jaruka meant.

I'm almost with you on that but the special effects and planet destruction we've seen so far is making me consider giving this a chance. If however i dont see a decent change in the gameplay/combos then i wont be getting this.

I was almost like this. BUT with the story mode and expressions i'll try it despite the fact i'm not holding my breath on gameplay. I'm hoping it'll be fun for extras and Story mode
