They could also raise and lower their ki levels at will while in their Super Saiyan states, an ability that never showed up in the series until the form was mastered.

After the events of the Dead Zone movie (and before the first episode of DBZ), Goku asked Kami to reactivate the dragonballs early as a special favor (similar to what Kami did when they first met). Goku was afraid he would tell Chi Chi about Gohan's power, and wanted to avoid any arguments about turning Gohan away from being a scholar to become a fighter. Kami complies with this, and tells Goku to go home. After gathering the balls, Mr. Popo makes the wish for Goku and the rest to forget about events pertaining to Garlic Jr. Before the balls fly off, Mr. Popo catches the four-star ball and places it near Goku’s house so he will be able to find it later.

After returning to the lookout Mr. Popo asks Kami, if Goku and the others will truly forget about Garlic Jr. Kami assures Mr. Popo, that while he and Popo aren’t affected, the others will not remember the encounter. As long as Garlic Jr. remains in the dead zone, Goku and the rest will just have that memory buried deep within them. The events that transpired that day will just be a blur to everyone. They won’t even remember seeing each other. However if Garlic Jr. were to escape, their memories (of Garlic Jr.) would return. But instead of the memory flooding back to them and being a big deal, it would be subtle enough that everyone would chalk it up to having forgotten it over time.

Dragon Ball GT takes place in an alternate reality where Cooler really is Frieza's brother, and the movie events (Cooler's Revenge, Return of Cooler) really did happen. After all, we do see him escape from Hell in one episode.

In an alternate timeline, Mr. Satan and Bee get heavily wounded by Kid Buu, and as it ends, there are no senzus left for a long time.
So they have to get repaired á la Android 16 and Mecha Freeza. So they become Mecha Mr. Satan and Mecha Bee.
Both acquire a great power with their cybernetic implants and limbs (since Freeza got much stronger with his mecha parts).
Bee becomes more intelligent with his brain implants (since half his brain was blown out), and Mr. Satan becomes a fighting machine.
Together they go as the Mecha Team, fighting villains and ruffians.
The powerlevel they aquire is the following:

Mecha Bee:
Relaxed: 5
Catching ball: 2,000
Playing around: 1,200,000
Serious: 150,000,000
Max: 250,000,000
Kaio-ken x10: 2,500,000,000

Mecha Mr. Satan:
Relaxed: 10
With women: 5
Goofing around: 15,000
Showing off: 1,500,000
Serious: 175,000,000
Max: 300,000,000
Kaio-ken x10: 3,000,000,000

Goku and Vegeta become their rivals, of course.

I actually intend to make a short webcomic about it when I get my tablet for Christmas. The character sketches are already ready. :P

Somebody's going to flame me for this but oh well

1. Tenshinhan really is an alien, like the Daizenshuu stated.
2. Tenshinhan kept training his arse off using methods he learned from all of his previous mentors and by GT is as strong as an ordinary SSjin 2. Chaozu wasn't terribly far behind.
3. Yamucha gave up training hard and ever surpassing Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, etc but he still trained due to not having much else to do and surpassed 100% Freeza like the other three Earthlings
4. Chibi Boo is the strongest character in DBZ, somewhere in between SSjin and SSjin 2 Vegetto. Base Goku in GT is almost as strong as SSjin 2 Vegetto.
5. Son Gohan didn't get weaker in GT; as muscles can atrophy but Ki shouldn't be able to. Hence I believe his Super Saiya-jin transformation just randomly come back on its own and his base form is as strong as his Chou "form" in DBZ
6. Tenshinhan and Lunch got together in the end as the Jump Special's manga version implied
7. Kuririn trained with his wife and eventually got to be as strong as her
8. Cell could have become a good person
9. Son Goku became some sort of God at the end of GT, one even higher than the Kaioshins
10. Tenshinhan surpasses 100% Freeza in the Jinzoningen Arc
11. Yamucha is a Saiya-jin, went Super Saiya-jin in the Jinzoningen Arc, and is the father of Son Goten. He then hid his power because Goku might catch on if he knew he also was Saiya-jin but continued training in secrecy and eventually turned Super Saiya-jin 2.

If Saiyans don't die in battle (which happens frequently, especially among low-class Saiyans), when they undergo the rapid ageing process, they are executed. Saiyans live for battle, and, as we saw when Vegeta killed Nappa, you're basically worthless if you can't fight. This is why I like Dragon Ball Online's scenario of Goku and Vegeta realizing their time is near and disappearing to have a final battle. Taking into account their ages in at that time, in Age 801 (Goku: 64, physically 57; Vegeta: 69, physically 71), I don't think many Saiyans live past their early seventies.

Let's see...

Buff Buu is the strongest Buu of all.

Mr. Satan is stronger than Videl, and can fly when he isn't thinking about it(see when he finds out Videl is dead).

All of the DBZ Movies fit in the anime storyline, no matter how little sense it makes. I flip flop on weather 2, 3, and 4 are in different timelines or not. 7 and 11 as well. The rest all fit fairly well in any case if you don't nitpick them.

ChiChi and Yamcha were both very lonely after the Cell games, and spent lots of time together. If he weren't a Super Saiya-jin, I'd think it very likely that Goten was Yamcha's son.

Yamcha and Tenshinah can do Kaio-ken after they train with Kaio. Kurillin might learn it too by the end of the Buu Saga after he finally trains with Kaio, but he was only with him a very short time. I prefer Kurillin learning the bulked up Super Human form Roshi uses. I see him as the old hermit way in the future with kids much like him as his students, kind of like the Kurillin universe in DBM.

Goku is much stronger at the beginning of GT than he was in the Buu Saga, but the wish to turn him into a kid takes away a great deal of his power, and he ends up weaker than in the Buu Saga. SSJ4 removes this loss of power. This scews Goku's sense of others' power as well, hence he thinks Rildo is as strong as Buu.

While we're at it, SSJ4 doesn't give significantly more power than 3, but the energy consumption is WAY down.

Might as well say that GT is in my Anime storyline as well. So is the Jump special, the events of Neko Majin, all of every series of Dr. Slump, and various parts of DBM and DB Elsewhere.

Goku's essentially immortal at the end of GT.

That's about it.

Everything after the Freeza saga is non-cannon

Tenshinhan and Yamcha learn Kaio-Ken

I'm pretty sure the series even before that is still a manga, as opposed to a cannon.

Yep your right. I guess I need to get my facts straight and dismantle this thing in my backyard. Who knew that robot stuff was in a book!

Seriously, Freeza is just too awesome for anything else after it.

Nappa, Vegeta and Raditz are all intergalatic wrestlers. Their different hairstyles are part of their personas.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

Oh I know, but stuff like that(including the visual showing of him being pretty huge compared to Earth) didn't matter to me, when I typed that.
