Only on the part of the posters. The dude who wrote it is serious, he has 'mental' problems though, his brother signed up just to tells us because some members were being a bit overly cruel to him and it was upsetting him.

I'm pretty sure that person is no younger then 10 years old. I think he wants RB3 to be a major crossover game.

Up until a couple days ago, the DB Wikia talk page for the game had the exact same list on it, but it has since been removed.[/quote]

Well he's posting it all over DB wiki now but I contacted Zarbon about it, so it should end soon. And yes it really only takes one person, have a bad idea if you want but when you get serious with a list like that, considering that the game will be out this year and its Spike, its very delusional.

On to the topic: I wonder if they are gonna put in what-if characters this time. I mean dbz wise, whats left unless they plan on going the BT route and port characters from DB and GT.

Assuming that they continue to add to the Raging Blast 2 roster we had, even if you ignore henchmen and giants, there are more than a couple of important characters that haven't been put in the games yet...or at least recently. We lacked some guys like the East Kaioshin, Mr. Satan, Pure Evil Buu, or almost anyone from the 25th Budokai time frame. I would snatch up any game that gave us a teen Goten and Trunks as well as kid Pan and Uub. Garlic Jr., Slug, and Bio Broli (I know he sucks, but he has his own movie) from the movies were missing. There are other characters from previous games and other DB related series like Ozotto, Yamhan, Kurieza, Neko Majin Z, etc. This is of course if they don't reset the roster, if they do it again then there are countless possibilities for who we could suggest to put in.

I'm not a real big fan of this whole "henchmen" thing. I dont mind it at all, its just because where dealing with Spike and "henchmen" could be potentially the only selling point regaurding characters. They added all the popular movie characters last year so its not like they have any "really cool" characters to help back the nobodys up. Yeah I know they still have Slug, Garlic Jr., Bio Broly and Uiro but again they arent really popular and the only good one is between Slug and Uiro becauese they are giants (well after Slug transforms of course). Judging by the size of the Oozaru at the end of the vid and the size of the stages the Giant characters could really be fucking humongous, I'm suspecting that giants will be playable in some way. Now that I look at it, in RB1&2 the stages arent big enough for really badass sized giants unlike this game where as I said before the stages look really fucking big.


Oh I forgot to mention Hildegarne and Tapion, uh I guess they're sorta popular but no where near the ranks of Broly, Cooler etc.

To be fair mate the movie henchmen get a lot of flak but if you go back and look at their designs they have a lot of fighting potential. For instance look at Kishime from Dr. Wheelo's bio-men. He has electric whips around his arms and uses them to fight with, give Spike these foundations and it could make for a really cool fighting character despite the fact he didn't get much air time. I wouldn't mind it if they completed Dragonball Z with henchmen and the like but I really don't mind either way at the moment. If they confirm we're only seeing Z again then I'd expect them to round off the roster so the next game can add GT and/or Dragonball. However if they confirm GT I want almost every new character to be from GT.

Wait a second...the english scan said that the game will have "The original japanese voiceovers and MUSIC"
...so...where are the pictures of "mission acomplished" banners, pigs flying and chicken with teeth?

For some reason, that part strikes me as more exciting than making sure we get "SSJ5 Goku with pre-Buu saga bikini and shotgun accessory" as a playable character lol

1) Does no one believe it'll actually happen?
2) Does everyone think it might not even have a Kikuchi score, and that's why we'll get the japanese version's music?

Yeah but for the fighting system that Spike already has he'll play just like Jeice, Butta or Kiwi just with a different finisher. What Spike could do or rather should do imo is borrow an idea from Nintendo and have certain henchmen fight together at the same time like the Ice Climbers in Smash Bros. That'll make things waaay more fun and adds a lot more diversity to the characters.

I hope we get a new scan this week just to give us a little bit more on what the game is about until E3.

Y'know, that actually makes sense. In the Raging Blast series, everybody and their brother has an SSJ3 transformation, so they should just add a HUGE roster (Sparking! Meteor sized), and give them all an SSJ3 transformation.

Well for one the battlefield should be easily destructible, so you get the feeling you are controlling great power. In DBZ 3 the effects when you used an ultimate attack were simply amazing(like that giant explosion seen from space), but it suffered from one having to play a game in a cutscene.
Here DBZ Sparking were better in the way you use your ultimate attacks, but it looked visually boring when you saw that giant flame thing after hitting the planet with an ultimate as opposed to DBZ 3's impressive explosions.

I also liked how in the Sparking games you could destroy mountains, houses and spaceships etc. during gameplay, but I haven't seen any blast or explosion affecting the ground like the trailer for this new game shows(leaving a giant hole behind after the attack). I also think the Sparking series were bad at beam struggles, in that category DBZ 3 was infinitely better. I think the sound and how it looked visually was what made it bad in the Sparking series, while DBZ 3 really gave you that satisfaction, when you won the beam struggle you got a sense of it being extremely powerful, when you see your opponent go flying to the ground, while in the Sparking series they fall down really slow or something? I don't remember.

The gameplay in itself I've always imagined to be close to the Sparking and Raging Blast games, because some sort of Free-Roaming has always interested me, but I really don't know, which way to improve it from there.

I don't know, it's really hard to pin-point exactly what I want in a perfect Dragon Ball game, but one is definitely something about affecting the landscape with ki blasts etc. in a more defined way than before.

Everyone and their brother...but Raditz and Tarble didn't...lol

They missed a great opportunity with Raditz, though. Raditz going SSJ is 2 transformations right there (1 and 3 lol)
