It would have made more sense for Chi-Chi to be made an Android instead of Videl.

This means that Videl was made an Android a long time after Yamcha was (as she is grown up), which doesn't make too much sense

Did Salagir say that? Yeah I would of expected to see Chi-Chi as one of the crew in universe # 9. Then again despite her abilities as a fighter, Chi-Chi never seems all that into it beyond joining the Tenkaichi Budokai to meet Goku and then later we see her teaching Goten to fight (which is weird as she was not too keen on Gohan being a fighter).

We still may see her crop up. There was a time way back when Salagir wasn't going to include the humans at all because they'd be so much outclassed, and (clearly) that's since changed.

I'm liking this less than the Cell chapter. At least Cell made progress. It's page 11 and nothing has actually happened yet. Just a bunch of *gasp! Gohan!*

Cell had already finished off Vegeta and was about to kill Piccolo by this time.

Y'know, this pacing would be fine if it was like an actual manga, with 17-19 pages released once a week. But this pacing is KILLING the momentum. It's just boring, poorly drawn, irrelevant, and terrible paced.

Full agreement. The same thing happened with that repeating joke in the Vegetto chapter. The gag itself wasn't really the problem. The pacing of the release, though, kills the oomph behind it. It's like if somebody tells you a joke but takes 24 hour interludes between sentences. I actually find myself going back and reading entire chapters of DBM and realize I enjoy it much more that way.

Yes it fucking was. They wasted everybody's time with that bullshit then on the last page took a big ol' text dump and said "oh btw vegetto fought cosmic horrors".

It wasn't about fighting though...so...yeah...no. I'll grant it wasn't an especially funny joke but had it been a part of a longer release rather than a week's worth of pages it wouldn't have been so annoying. Hell, I think we can say the same about the filler in the actual anime. Watching filler on DVD is hardly as bad as dealing with it when we got one episode a week.

But I wouldn't hold the closing text against it. There are a lot of things to complain about in the specials but there not being fighting in one that was never meant to have any in the first place is not one of them. Now having shitty fighting in a special that is supposed to have it (this one) is another issue altogether.
