I guess this technically counts as a purchase as I payed my younger brother to make this for me and its specifically for Dragonball.

My Dragonbox

I didn't even ask him to paint it orange, he knows me so well :D A lil temporary bit of cardboard inside to protect the DVD's from the Orange paint. I gonna get so felt material and fill the inside at a later time.

No problem! No I didn't receive it since they pushed the damn set release date back AGAIN, but what I find with preorders is sometimes they take too long to ship, so I messaged the seller got a refund and I'm going to wait until the end of I think this month or next month. Because the release date got pushed back AGAIN, everyone that preordered them won't get them for quite some time. I'm just going to wait until they are fully released and available everywhere and then just buy them right off the bat. Looking very forward to that semi-perfect Cell though, the detailing looks insane!

Alright so I just got my Wild Style figures in and... I love them! I think they're great! The detailing is crazy on both figures. The Vegeta has a nice size with accurate sculpts of his armor and hair, the hair is sculpted especially nicely. The armor is styled great and I really like the chunk missing off his right shoulder. Battle damaged is right! The SSJ Goku is no slouch either! I love the hair and the styling they used on it, superb! The clothes are nicely ripped and torn. I really like the effect! If you don't have these well then ugh, I don't know what to say to you! The shining light in these is that you can also display them with no base. I really like the base-no base option since it allows for more convenience when displaying the figures as well as allowing the collector to choose how they display their figures, (not everyone wants a brown earth base) lol. The bases are decent though and I like the added "earth effect" touch. All in all wonderful figures and glad I got them! Are they worthy of doubles? Hmm I'd say the Vegeta is, since a HQDX scaled battle damaged version of him hasn't been previously released like this (to my knowledge). The Goku, well... yeah he's nice but we have like how many battle damged SSJ Goku's? I swear toy manufacturers love the battle damaged SSJ Goku look- so I'd say if you really like him then double up. The boxes are a tad large for the size of the figures, I really would like Banpresto to work on this next... I'm having space issues dammit! The boxes should be made smaller and more compact like the HQDX 2.5 Majin Vegeta boxes. All in all wonderful stuff!

@TheLegendary117 Damn! Thought that would work  I cant wait till the Lock out is lifted, cause there some good Free Agents this year

@ Raithos Nice :D I like the fact that they are free standing and not hindered by pegs on the feet. The SSJ3 Goku and Powered up Freeza from the up coming Zoukei Tenkaichi Budoukai Figures fit well with these 2 as they have that ridged look to them IMO. Cant wait to see how they look in your collection display

Raithos, after looking at your Wild Style figures I'm not too sure if I'm a fan of them anymore. I still bought them though and they should be arriving to me anyday now. God Angolz is slow. I'll probably put them on display with my DX Creatures figures instead of my main shelf. I think they'll look better there. I too can't wait for the Tenkaichi figures!

I see if my uncle can do it. I really wanna make it special, It is the Dragonbox after all :D

I hope if Funimation makes the Dragonbox Movies that they'll look similar to the Series box. If they do I'll have to get another case made but it'll be worth it. I originaly wanted a box because the spine just dont look right in there yellow sleeves.

I'll upload pics when its done :)

Raithos, the faces of those Wild Style figures look discoloured. Is it just the camera making them look that way, or are they like that in the flesh?

I know right. I was disappointed when I got them too, but I already knew they would look like this from earlier reviews and prototype pics. So that's why I was saying they may not be all that and I wouldn't be getting doubles. (Earlier on when we were all talking about ordering them from Angolz :P). Yeah that's the thing about Ang they take foreverrrrrrrrrrrr to ship, lol. Omg the excitement over the coming releases nullifies my disappointment though, lol!

Yeah that's a touch I didn't like on them either, no that's how they actually look. Banpresto was a little too heavy with the flesh coloured paint in some spots so it makes them look like they have a weird sunburn... I don't like it at all. I would have preferred if the figures had a uniform skin tone paint pallet, but I guess not. It doesn't detract too much from the overall figures, it even sort of works for Goku, becuase he does have a lighter complexion than Vegeta but at the same time I still don't like it.

And also something is a tad off about Goku's face... You'll see ti when you get it but from certain angles he just looks like a shcool yard bully, I don't know his face looks derp, lol.
