I, and others, diasgree. Both #17 and #18, up until Cell appears on the scene, are portrayed as cold.

Not really. They're just more subtle about how they act. They're not totally monotone. The Japanese version certainly doesn't portray such.

Honestly, as much as I loved Meredith, she wasn't the greatest actress and she always sounded forced.

I'm with Kaiser. They're not really evil, they're just... bored.

Cold and reserved doesn't mean evil...

Honestly, of the two, 18 was the most reserved initially. 17 still had those bouts of human traits, but 18 mostly held off on those (and most emotions) until Cell (with little tastes here and there before then).

So, while not entirely cold...she was the colder of the two, and mostly reserved early on. And before you ask, I just watched up til Cell began blowing up islands, chasing 18 on my Dragon Box Z #4, so it's not just a dub thing for me.

I had no problem with 18's new voice, and while it's not always this decent, I also had no problem with the use of Kikuchi tracks in this episode. Honestly, the whole thing was very enjoyable.

Nothing will make Kuririn's ridiculous infatuation with #18 more believable.

On-topic, #18's new voice sounds alright. Not as good as the old one, but it's satisfactory.

I think the voice fits just as well as the previous one. What sticks out and makes it better though, is the acting. I think Colleen delivers these lines perfectly.

What is the title screen music? It sounds like something from movie 9.

Prolouge & Subtitle I from the DBZ OST

this music might only be temporary until Funi finishes "revising" the soundtrack. I doubt it though
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

The Toonzai Freeza episodes had different music than that.

Nope, still Jeremy Inman, but he is using a different voice than last time.

Is there anyway to get in contact with Sabat or McCoy to ask why McCoy didn't return to voice 18? This was a pointless recast since McCoy was just fine as 18. If she was busy with other stuff or didn't want to return, then that sucks, if Sabat didn't bother contacting her to voice 18 damn him.

I like Colleen's 18. It kind of sounds closer to her Japanese counterpart.

It's possible that he wanted to go in a different direction for 18.

Here is a some useless information that I doubt anyone would care about but it is related to the topic I guess.

I was on Kyle Hebert's live stickam show, someone pointed out Dameon Clarke returning to voice Cell in DBZ Kai, Hebert said something like "umm...no that would be Travis Willingham who will be voicing Cell in Kai", the way he said it seemed like he knew for a fact that it is definitely Willingham. Then that same person said Clarke confirmed it on his facebook, and right before Hebert was about to say something about it, his stickam camera or something screwed up and he stopped his live show.

I guess Hebert wasn't aware of Clarke's last second return.

Why are you all surprised about 18's new voice actress? We already know about this since RB2... or maybe you all assumed that was a one-time thing?

Listen to 18's Japanese voice. Now, THAT is sexy.

18's new voice is fine. It just takes time to adjust to.

Damien Clarke better be back because his Cell is awesome. I felt Willingham's Cell was a little too rough.

I actually really like Colleen as #18. Meredith didn't sound like she wasn't bored, but more-or-less mad. Colleen really fits the role. I'm looking forward to her and Vegeta's fight.
