Since they seem to be refreshing the game series, I'm surprised that didn't go with something like "Tenkaichi Kai".

Perhaps the RB series was too much of failure, so much for "wait for RB3 guys" that was floating around other forums since RB1.

Are we going to get any E3 footage this week of the game?
Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
This thought just came to me; all the names has Dragon Ball Z in the name... Z... I guess that means yet again that it is based only on DBZ, eh?

Didnt Budokai and all the BTs have DB or GT characters in them with Z in the name?
I don't think DB characters fighting mechanics/abilities would go well with Z and GT characters.

Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
It probably is, but there's no guarantee. All of the Sparking games included DB characters, a couple of them included GT, Budokai 3 included DB & GT, Infinite World included GT, and Legendary Super Warriors had a DB character. There's no indication that this game includes DB or GT, but we don't really know enough to be completely sure. They could have decided to tack on the Z as a marketing strategy. Z games tend to sell better.sangofe wrote:This thought just came to me; all the names has Dragon Ball Z in the name... Z... I guess that means yet again that it is based only on DBZ, eh?

That would imply them actually keeping up with the franchise. I seem to recall a Bandai representative saying that the "Plan to Erradicate the Super Saiyans" was based on a manga volume and was never finished lolTheDevilsCorpse wrote:Since they seem to be refreshing the game series, I'm surprised that didn't go with something like "Tenkaichi Kai".
(Although using "Kai" in the name is actually a good idea...which is probably why Bandai Namco didn't think of it)
Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Meteor (BT3) had characters from DB, Z, GT and Arale.sangofe wrote:This thought just came to me; all the names has Dragon Ball Z in the name... Z... I guess that means yet again that it is based only on DBZ, eh?
Raging Blast focused on Z only and didn't have Z in the name.

one of the official forum's moderators gave a list of appearing games and Project Age was on it so I'm assuming we'll at least see a trailer as we have for almost every Dragonball game.MasterVampire wrote:Are we going to get any E3 footage this week of the game?

Off topic: Sony was better than Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft were in between but Ubisoft was on drugs.
On Topic: I hope they give a penalty to online disconnecters. A auto loss will suffice.

Yeah, disconnecting counted as a loss in RB2.Saimaroimaru wrote:On Topic: I hope they give a penalty to online disconnecters. A auto loss will suffice.

This game better needs a good core combat and a good Ki system.
I want a game, which can be compared to Tekken, SF, MK and BB.
This facebook group is going crazy:

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.Rukura about Sparking Omega wrote:I'm imagining people from Namco Bandai looking at these big sites talking about the announcement and them going "Wait....what?! This! I would love if the fights had a little of that "Tekken feeling."Super Saiyajin Luffy wrote:This game better needs a good core combat and a good Ki system.

Would be cool if they continue to add new what-ifs and a GT roster.Super Saiyajin Luffy wrote: They demand SSJ4 Vegetto -.-

I wonder if we will see Project Age for the Wii U? The control for the Wii U does look pretty awesome and I think a DBZ game for that system could be awesome.

It'd be nice to play it all handheld as well. Perhaps the controller could also be used for unleashing special attacks or something.Hellspawn28 wrote:I wonder if we will see Project Age for the Wii U? If it gets ported.Hellspawn28 wrote:I wonder if we will see Project Age for the Wii U? The control for the Wii U does look pretty awesome and I think a DBZ game for that system could be awesome.
I wish the Wii U controller was a bit smaller. And the control stick placement is weird to me (a control stick above the face buttons? C'mon.).
Which brings me to a question? Are those control stick clickable?

I would not to be surprise if it does since both the second and 3rd Sparking games where released on the Wii. I have a good feeling that it will likely be a Wii U lunch title.mysticboy wrote:If it gets ported.
