I think Neoseeker has something exactly like this. It helps when you have quick questions like my Location of the Gohan vs. Dabra fight?.

I think the idea is a thread for newby questions, particularly the sort that would take one or two posts to resolve.

So they take one or two posts to resolve and they're done. Not sure I see the need to bury endless Q&As in a single thread that people will never want to pour over as opposed to single, one-shot threads that people may actually discover on their own.
