Got that Bardock/Trunks TV special combo DVD for $27.

Now I'm thinking I should of got all 13 movies and the TV specials in this collection for $95.
:x

But anyways, I'm done buying Dragonball for the near future.

One day I may get the DVDs containing Jinzoningen/Cell+ arcs.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

It depends where he's from. I paid $27 for the exact same DVD when it first came out in NZ. It's now $16 though.

Can you tell me what these are? Are these Chinese DVD boxsets(I can see the Long Qiu - Dragon Ball logo in the background)? Because the DBGT one looks interesting.

When the DVD singles for each of the Dragon Boxes were initially coming out they came with point tickets, worth one point each, which could be redeemed for specially crafted DB diorama pieces. These are the dioramas for DB, Z, and the first one from GT.

Dragon Box 3; but they used tape instead of glue like with the previous two sets and I ended up ripping off parts of the picture on the back of the box when I went to remove the tape. :(
(I knew it was a losing battle going in, but I still lost more of the artwork than I'd thought I would.)

It's not like I ever plan to resell it or anything, but I paid for the box (along with 2 day shipping) and it's kind of annoying that this happened. Did Funi just stop using the glue after Box 2 because tape is cheaper? Or is it Amazon--where I bought it--who did this?

Anyone else had a similar issue?

EDIT: Checked out the old DBox 3 thread and looks like this has happened to other people too.

No, they still use the glue. My Dragon Box Three back in August last year had the glue, so it must of been an old print or they made a mistake.

Ah; I was reading the thread (long after I'd peeled the tape off) and discovered it was kind of a mixed bag where some people got the tape, some got the glue, and a few didn't have anything holding it in place at all.

I just got unlucky I guess.
Still, the discs themselves look alright, that image of Shenlong is on the back of all the boxes anyway, and I didn't lose as much of the art as I feared I would, so I guess I'm gonna just cut my loses and deal with it.

I haven't read anything about DBox 4 having similar problems, so hopefully this was just an isolated set of cases particular only to DBox 3.

Here are pictures of my newly framed Dragonball Posters:

Side Note: Sorry about the pictures being so angled but if I took pictures of these posters straight on the flash would be reflected off the frame. I'm also sorry about the minor Reflections, I did my best to get awesome looking pictures. I hope the pictures are clear enough for the community to enjoy them.

Last Minute Note: Poster 1 I acquired from Rightstuf.com and Posters 2 and 3 i got off Ebay from a seller in Thailand. All 3 frames I bought from Target for $9.99 USD each.

I did? The only bad thing I found is the sound, which is pretty quiet for the Bardock movie.

You didn't get ripped off because of the quality. I bought that same DVD for $7 at FYE.
