It'd be nice to play it all handheld as well. Perhaps the controller could also be used for unleashing special attacks or something.
It'll likely have its assets either re-used into a PlayStation Vita game, or be ported for launch as well. Similar to what they did with the Shin Budokai games on PSP. Except, the Vita can handle things considerably easier than the PSP could ever.

Would be cool if they continue to add new what-ifs and a GT roster.
No what-if SSJ4's please, we are already dealing with what-if SSJ3's.
Why not?

We were never told to expect anything at E3. Before the event started, Namdai sent out an email about the survey for the game's name. The email contained a new version of the old trailer with text that advertised Japan Expo for more info at the end. I doubt if we'll see anything at E3, I guess it still may be possible, but unlikely.

Honestly, if we did get SS4 Vegetto, I wouldn't complain. He's the only one I think could get away with the transformation to mirror Gogeta. Goku and Vegeta could have theoretically fused into him again at any point in GT so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch. Vegetto would be a much better candidate than Broli, Future Trunks or Gohan IMO.

Honestly though, if they want forms we haven't had for characters before (in Spike's series), I would prefer if they filled in transformations or at least gave us logical ones. Give Gotenks SS2, give us Trunks in SS grade 2, throw in buff Cell, something that at least kind of makes sense. With both Goku and Vegeta having all the forms from Base to SS3 in the last game, even Gogeta and Vegetto having SS2 and SS3 is more than possible considering Gotenks' situation...oh and Gogeta needs a base form. How is he the only Saiyan not to get one? xD Even though he didn't display a base form in the movie, at least not one that wasn't a failed fusion, he should have one. How hard is it to recolor his hair black?

The inclustion of certain what-ifs would not impair you or cause any damage, would it?
The more characters the nicer the diversity and the more one can choose from. Also in this special case a SSJ4 Vegetto would not be just a random what-if like Tiencha but he would also be logically capable to go SSJ4 some time in the future if he didn't split inside Boo (considering they trained afterwards, which they most probably would, since they don't do anything else).

You mean SSJ2 Trunks (Future)?
Buff Buu and a fifth form Freeza would be great.

No, I mean Super Saiyan grade 2 Trunks, his equivalent of "Super Vegeta". The one in between his Super Saiyan and his Hulk form. Speaking of Hulk forms, is SS3 Broli returns this game, I wouldn't mind them throwing him an "SS2/LSS2" form to bridge the gap. Same for Future Trunks if his SS3 form makes it this game.

How is Teincha random? Within the fandom for some reason those two get paired together or at least compared. Besides I rather had Teincha then SSJ levels tacked on to more characters but seeing as we are getting SSJ3 Future Trunks most likely, I guess my sentiments are a moot point.

SS4 Vegetto is pretty random a lot less of an original idea than Tiencha

I would like to see something like King of the Hill mode from MK9 in this game.

Thank God opinions differ. And besides the inclusion of more what-ifs is in no way hindering for the game. And I am not one of those who crave for ludicrous characters like Mario, Princess Zelda or Pikachu. I am just talking about realistic and logical what-ifs of the characters from the series.

I'd rather not have "What if transformations" Fusions? yes. Characters that are different due to story? yes. But as raging blast proved the extra SSJ forms are uninspired, bad story and not that different from regular.

As for Wii-U, I'd rather get a Wii-u made Dragonball that uses the features better. Like say having a Budokai 3 style story mode with the screen on pad been used as a Dragon Radar!

It hinders the game in the sense if they're stupid additions they take up places for good additions.

SSJ4 Vegetto isn't really random though.

Define "good". That's subjective anyway. They can add every realistic fan-wish if they weren't lazy or against it or whatever. So if that is your only argument against the inclustion of what-ifs that they hinder the inclustion of other "good characters" then it's not very valid in my opinion.

Completely agree. He should've actually been in a game long ago.
