50€ for rougly 30 episodes sounds really expensive, considering that Funimation's Dragonboxes include roughly 40 episodes per set and cost 30$-40$ (if you buy them a while after the release), and include better video quality.

SSJ 2 Gohan excluded from Box 6 since it contains the Cell Games.

I like the art for boxes 5, 6, and 7 but the first four don't look very good to me. Don't like them at all.

Also the german Version of the series is edited and cut, because they used the french AB TV Masters instead of the uncut japanese ones - but that doesn't stop the german voiceactors to swear many curses I first came across thanks to DBZ ^^
I think they actually added swearing to make things "cool"...

Yeah, I know. :P

The only two times that I've seen that particular Freeza artwork, are on that German boxset and on the 3rd "Orange Brick". I quite like it.

I think it's weird how box 6 has the image of Goku from nearly the last episode (when he kills Boo with the Genki Dama).

I'd be lying if I said the boxart didn't look cool.
This will never not be my sig:

I can't believe this is on-topic.

At least you got Gohan on a cover unlike our boxsets until DBOX 5.

I always loved that picture of Gohan. I think that's the one used in Dragon Ball Z Greatest Legends for PS1? I could be wrong. Anyway, I like the cover art, just not sure about the colors. But hey, a release of DBZ is a release of DBZ.

Depends on where you live, but FUNi was putting DBZ episodes on their video site last time I checked. Sure, it's the remastered footage, but it's legal and it's better quality than most downloads out their (unless someone is offering downloads of the dragon box then hot damn).

Though if your in Europe I have no idea, you might be out of luck.

And add the fact that these are censored-only releases with only the German dub.

The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!
