Is it just me, or does Vegeta look closer to his recent in-game video game appearances than his animated appearances in the series?

I thought almost the same thing. Both Vegeta and Cell look like a trace of some poorly-made 3D model. Vegeta's eyes look emotionless, and the entire art lacks an uplifting feeling.
