Yeah I agree with AttitudeFan, I mean as funny as it may seem no one wants to play the Saiyan saga and fight Vegeta with his Boo or Cell saga clothes on until probably AFTER the story mode has been completed.

True that. It's like the RB series was an absolute downgrade from T3 (except graphics or gameplay because those both topic are subjective). But to have most of the real comstumes from the anime in T3 and then leave them out TWICE in the next games is just plain retarded.

I usually focus on core mechanics first; meaning if the game plays well vs having a butt load of eye candy. However, seeing as how this is a "simulation game" I'm taking Attitudefan's position on the whole costume thing. For a game that credits itself on being the best Dragonball experience and has no problem shoving minor characters and transformations into games, you'd think they'd pay good attention to costume detail.

I'm going to assume that this is from a mini game thing though. You know like the punching bag game in the first Raging Blast. Is there anything to confirm this?

So...costumes aside, was that the scene I was talking about from the scan? Assuming so...how did they do that?

Wasn't there a picture where Oozaru Vegeta was coming down towards the screen with his boot with a triangle on the screen? Does that mean we can somehow further a cutscene along in real time with buttons? Since we know you can't make 'fire blast to eye' a move, and its not a cutscene because there were the HUBs and all in the picture right?

Also....the picture in the DEAD CENTER of that scan is showing me a picture of Oozaru Vegeta with Goku right in front of him, and Goku is about the size of his front teeth, pretty please let that be the real scale for the game.

From what I can gather thanks to my rusty kanji-kana combo skills it seems that Oozaru Vejita is indeed a boss. Gotta get someone with better skills to translate the scan to clarify whether not he also is a playable character.

Although I would WANT to play as his/other giant characters, I feel that if he is ONLY a boss character, then they could blow him up to a larger size and not hve to worry about the unbalance between characters.

Well the Comic Con is coming soon, I hope to see a full name and a release date. I have a feeling it's going to be this November, early 2012 would be nice since Spike won't have to rush it out like they have for a half of decade.

Every little detail counts. Lets say you play a shooter game okay? You want the guns to work and look how they actually are in real life. You want nice costumes and backgrounds. Lets say in this game, because detail doesn't count, he'll be wearing a green camouflage in the desert. That matters.

Goku wearing, and looking how he does in Dragonball during that time is very important. It's a SIM game! It's only on Dragonball. It's going over the key events; it has to be correct! Leaving it out makes as much sense as making a WW2 game with modern weapons! You want to see the soldiers in their correspondent uniforms during each battle right?

This is my point, and now I see Goku like this, I am not amused!
Totally agree with you!
In each saga,we see the main characters wearing different costumes.So,why leave it behind all the time?
It is so easy and it matters a lot.
If they want to make us feel like we are playing the real story,we need to have the real costumes at that point in the story.

It's not that important but it is very important to me. For example, Krillin. He changed his shoes after the Saiyan saga, why am I fighting with a Cell Saga Krillin like he only wore one costume the entire series?

You forgot his Early Namek uniform, without a tail and lower waist guards and without a tail.

Krillin also doesn't wear a blue undershirt before the Cell arc too.

I always hated in some of the earlier games where Vegeta was wearing his Cell era uniform when he fights Jeice, Freeza and Ginyu! That is just lazy! Why choose one over the other? It would be like having Vegeta fight with his tail and early uniform in the Cell saga, wait, they did that but in the Namek saga! It breaks the game.

He's already the right size. In the Saiyan Arc, Oozaru Vegeta's hand covers from Goku's feet to his neck and and the screen shows Goku about the size of his head.

Oozarus have been shown to be WAY taller than buildings and cities. Didn't some one either grab an oozarus finger or like run up their body or something?

In the Bt series, the oozarus were GROSSLY undersized. If it IS a boss only situation, they should make him huge.

Yes they are undersized in BT, but Oozaru Vegeta is already 2-3 times bigger in this game, and its the correct size. Oozaru have been seen at all kinds of sizes in the filler style material, but Toriyama himself drew them fairly consistent, especially in Z.

What I meant was, that very first glimpse we saw of Oozaru with no clothes on looks much bigger than the Vegeta one we are seeing now.

I don't want them to reveal a HUGE giant just to get people pumped and then scale him back for the game.

They changed the costume for an entire Ozaru, I think they can change a symbol on Goku's back...
