Ah yes, I've always liked features like that. Especially when it comes to things you wouldn't get in the show, like Kid Goku having quotes with most of his family or Future Trunks having quotes with Kid Trunks.

DNA wrote:I love how 18 says "TORA!" when attacking in most games.
She says it on Butoden when firing ki blasts; on Legends when using heavy attacks; I've also heard it in Tenkaichi 3 and Raging Blast 2 when she does certain attacks, normally she does it when it's a generic ki blast super, like when she throws a bunch of ki balls. On the later ones she normally says something like "TORATORATORATORA!!", if you pay close attention, you can actually hear her say it. I bet she says it in more games as well.
Ah, I love the recycled voice clips. Raditz' "BAAH KOMMEH" and Nappa's "OOULLL-YEAH" are two of my favourites. I first noticed them in Budokai 2, I believe, and was pleasantly surprised to find them in Tenkaichi 3 as well.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

I believe on the English front, Vegeta's "Drop Dead!" and Saiyaman's "Iron Fist!" also got recycled.

I like the move Double Sunday because of the name. I have no idea why it's called that.

This is why I love playing TB3 over and over. I love going into versus mode and hearing the pre- and post-fight taunts.

I like how in [Can't remember which game it was, but it was for PS2], when making a spirit bomb, Cell is like "Give me that stupid energy", and it's green, and does more damage than Goku's regular Spirit Bomb.

It's as if the "stupid" energy is stronger than regular energy.

Ah, that can count... it's not exactly major.
In that case, Cellin.

I love the pre and post-scripted taunts. In Raging Blast 2, they did what I always wanted and had fighters use lines from the show or made up lines as the battle progresses. Goku and Vegeta, for example, will talk as two players fight. If one of the players use kaioken, for example, Goku will say stuff like "I hope my body can take it!" then follows Vegeta's "spill my noble blood! I'll blow the whole planet UP!!!!!"

It makes fights WAY more enjoyable! :)

In the original Budokai (and maybe the sequel, it has been awhile) all of Raditz's moves were named after days of the week. A lot of them were just cliche' physical hits so they were dropped in later games leaving him with only his Ki attacks Saturday Crush and Double Sunday. He shoots two beams from his hands thus the "double" part.

Edit: I also love the prebattle quotes those are easily something I look forward to every game.

I actually thought "Double Sunday", "Saturday Crush", "Exciting Year" etc. were the legitimate terms when I first heard them. Toriyama had done far weirder things in the series by that point already, I really don't blame the dub for unintentionally channeling that weirdness.

However ridiculous it got, I ADORED the board-game from B2 and the branching what if's, it had.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

So many different character quotes during each what if battles too. It was also cool to unlock certain things by defeating an enemy with a certain character ie Ten beating Nappa etc.

In Budokai 3, when Recoome does his ultimate attack, you see the logo of the Ginyu Special Force in the explosion.

I also love the weird alternate storylines. i.e. Nappa and Raditz come to Earth looking for the Dragon Balls, get defeated, and then final-form Freeza, along with Ginyu and ReaCoom, fight Goku in front of muscle tower. Later, Gero grows multi-colored Saiba-Rangers. Even later, Babidi summons Majin Cell and Majin Freeza.
Still, there was no reference to that name in the manga or the anime at all with the exception of the Ultimate Uncut Editions' English dub.

EDIT: Fixed quotes.

Anyone else remember Trunks's lightsaber in Super Dragon Ball Z?
