They're probably just testing the models and all those other important stuff and then in the end they will change the outfits. They do the same thing with FIFA, first they release screenshots and gameplay with players who're wearing kits from last game and THEN just before they release the game, they update kits, boots etc.

When I look at it, it doesn't really look like Vegeta, mostly because of the lack of armor. I'm actually starting to think that this might have it's own original story about the Saiyans.

Even those images aren't 100% correct, the Buu Arc costume has the wrong color scheme for the boots.

... how is there no armor?

Even my image on this page shows the new armor on the Oozaru from the exact same scene:

I'm hoping, that the game could get a customization like Tekken or an improved version of Ultimate Botuuden.
I wait for the gameplay, hoping it will be good. They definitely trying the UNS route, just Spike, don't make the controls too simple.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

There is Goten >_> He'll be as cheap as always

I am seriously hoping for ultimate grapples, my friend and I discussed this back in the BT2 era. Grapples like Ma jr and Son or Ten vs Son or Majin Vegeta vs Son or EVEN Freeza vs Son.
You know, where the ground could break, lighting surrounding them. Like the ultimate uncle game

Urg! This waiting is painstaking. Can't we atleast get a lil tidbit of knowledge a week or something?

But on the note of struggles, I think almost evevything should be struggle-able, especially the super explosive waves [Frieza vs. Goku] and we still need the option to:

1. knock a blast back TOWARDS the character
2. use super energy volley as much as the ki bar will let us
3. Your ki should be linked somehow with your health.

Because we have heard 'he put all of his energy into that attack' a million times in the show, so after all THEIR energy is gone, they die.

Tenshinhan's Shin Kikoho is actually tied into his health bar in the Raging Blast series. You can continue using it by pressing the triangle/360 equivalent button, but it drains health with each press of the button.

Well I guess that is what I was trying to get at. Yeah, the fights would be more interesting that way, but I know it will not be in this game. Burst Limit was the most broken with their ki system.

Hyper Dimension had health and ki as the same counter, but it was pretty broken since you could just charge up and make fights last for AGES.

Pssssst game developers...remember how you brought over SS3 Broly and Vegeta in the US?

Well I see a S3 Trunks, SS Bardock, a 'Chilled'[which i assume they would call him Chilla or chiller in the dub], and a to-my-knowledge unnamed new Frieza race character; lets get them in this new Ultimate Tenkaichi situation so we can have some new happenings in a game.

Side note, since I can't read Japanese and haven't followed the story much, is that new Bardock story thing canon now or just some funsies to have a new villian?

Well, it is meant to be a sequel to the original special. And the members of Freeza's race just seem to be player avatars so I don't think they anymore likely than the other character avatars.
Speaking of new happenings, it would be fun to see Miira make it into this game since Spike likes throwing in a lot of characters. Though, I could see why they wouldn't since that game hasn't been brought to Japan yet.

Hmm Goku's feet look a bit tiny in the first picture... :|

Anyway, this game lacks news! I'm really curious to see what (new) characters they going to include, stages, game modes and what not. Like said before, I hope they will include characters from DBH or at least come up with their own.

Why would they add the avatars? They never have before...

It's about 80% likely they'll add Super Saiyan Bardock and Super Saiyan 3 Trunks though

The unnamed new Freeza race characters you spoke about are just player avatars in Dragon Ball Heroes not actual characters.

Oooooh I thought that was ONE character with like 3 transformations, oh well

But 'Chilled' is a "real thing" though now right? Am I the only one who will be disappointed if the only two new characters [we dont know about oozaru yet] are SS Bardock and SS3 Trunks?

...Even though we will probably get shafted on creative ultimates for them either way.
