Haven't seen it yet, as I'm about to watch the rerun, but I agree with the music. There's been much more silence lately, and the pieces chosen have matched the scenes much better. It almost feels more like the original Dragon Ball's score in terms of placement than it does Z, with no specific recap music, more dramatic abrupt cutting off of the music, and some fading of one track to the other (which I've noticed since my recent re-watching of the Daimao arc), as opposed to early on with the replacement score which sounded like the BGM CDs played on shuffle.

Dameon Clarke is back as Cell and better than ever. I have a feeling that his take this time will be leagues beyond his Z performance. By the way the guy Cell absorbed was played by J. Michael Tatum.

You sure? The only time he said it was when he actually fired the thing and I didn't hear anything wrong. Perhaps a little bit too much of a "may" pronounciation?

Yea, maybe I'm just being nitpicky after dissecting so many DBZK episodes. To me at least, he pronounced it like "Kamayamaya", while Piccolo pronounced it like "Ka-me-ha-me-ha". I'll listen to it again though

Edit: Also, I'm gonna fix that image on the next update so that "(TV Version)" is the same size as the rest of the font. I just have to pick a different size word bubble or not have it overlap like that. I know most people won't care either way but, every time I see that it bothers me.

I really liked this first episode with Cell. He sounds more awesome than ever. Hopefully he'll keep up the level.

Just saw the new episode with Cell. I agree with you guys, Clarke's Cell is fantastic in this episode. Granted I like both Japanese and English Cells equally but man, it really felt like he has improved a lot since the original dub. Funny how some of the US cast are improving the new Kai dub while the Japanese originals are more, well, tired in their roles compared to Z.
