Same here. Also I don't understand why the camera changes to the side sometimes giving us a "2D" Budokai-like perspective.

I need 2 hours with this game's demo, so I can figure what is happening. I can't judge the game at all because I am lost in the combat system. :oops:

I'm hoping that is a good thing, maybe the combat is just so deep and amazing we don't understand it, or maybe it is just QTEs with some Raging Blast here and there, I hope not.

I'm interested to see what sort of special features they'll include in this game; I mean, Raging Blast 2 had an animated special inside it. I'm not sure how you can just go back to not having such a thing without having a feature that can top it.

It is not a misstranslation; the french article says the game will have 30 characters less.

Interesting. Maybe since they are going with manga-styled graphics they won't use anime exclusive characters. Though, that would only be like 25 characters.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Now that I reread the interviews and articles, how can they add in GT while still maintaining a 30 character cut? Removing 30 characters still places us around the original Raging Blast roster. Raging Blast 2 had 100 characters if I'm not mistaken and they are removing 30, so we end up at 70 (less than Raging Blast 1). Counting the reveals since the announcement, I think we have like 22 of the characters, not counting the giants that I don't think will be playable by us.

What do you know, it looks exactly like the last six games. People would be better off just replaying one of the previous Tenkaichi style games they already own, and not wasting $60.

This compared to the "DADADADADA" of recent Spike games. It's just an endless loop of open to close. It's hideous and distracting. Even Tenkaichi 3 had better mouth animation.

Well if they really are taking that many characters out lets hope that they combine the ones that really dont need to be seperate.

I haven't bought the last three Dragonball PS3 games and I'm not even thinking about getting this one. Nothing changes or improves from game to game anymore. I'll do my best to hunt down a copy of Sparking 3 and call it a day.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Does it switch into 2D fighting when they get close to one another and what was with the stopping before attacking? That was odd.

I'm so confused, can we just not punch and kick anymore? And why does like every blast make contact and start up a little cut scene thing?

Also...the US trailer just OWNED the JP trailer.

So, uh, does this game even have any REAL fighting in it? I was pumped up when I saw the trailers, but I was let down when I saw gameplay. To me, it all looks like a bunch of cutscenes.
