I can't believe that SSj3 Vegeta and SSj3 Broli are out. Given that GT's inclusion practically guarantees that Vegeta will have access to SSj4, this is the game where he should most definitely have SSj3 as well; instead of Vegeta having access to the entire ladder, for once, we get to have that uncomfortable "hole" again, despite that it was filled not one game earlier by the same damn developer.

To hell with this. Wake me when Goten is confirmed to be a playable character.

I really hope they don't add Goten in, just to piss off Li'l Lemmy

I like the "hole" for Vegeta, it sums up his overall story arc and character. He isn't a perfect and doesn't want to be, the hole can be seen as the imperfection of the prince he is but he will still find a way to exceed at all costs.

I think it's always retarded to include a new character in a series of games and then leave him out in the next game although it's made by the same developer. I just wished Spike had more time to develop their games without so many flaws.

Spike's character rosters have been a bit unstable. Maybe adding in all those characters in BT3 did more harm than good for them.

I'm assuming you are referring to this quote:
A: These are the demands of fans at the February meeting, as well as critics of the series Raging Blast that influenced this choice. Next-gen games have been criticized by Spike in new fans, who are too elitist, too hardcore-game, too complex. The goal is to provide a simpler game to learn, to a wider audience. But by allowing hardcore gamers to further the game
Sounds to me like they are saying the next-gen games by Spike have been criticized by newcomers for being too hard-core, complex etc. not that the fans are elitists or anything.

That is why they are making this game simpler than the previous ones, so a wider audience will get interested.

Whoever translated it perhaps had issues doing it properly, considering nearly every sentence in the interview start with a french pronoun and other stuff. It sounds like it came from Google Translate to be brutally honest.

I can't grasp how someone could say that the Tenkaichi and RB games were too hard o_O
Sure it was something different when moving from Budokai to Tenkaichi but if you really wanted to play it you should have beem able to adjust to it and learn the mechanics in a matter of hours.

Rebuttal: Super Saiyan 2 Gotenks.

Also, when did they say NO Goten? That just seems...not plausible. I know they skipped over Gohan once using Goku's model for absorbtion, but Goten is a main character, how would they tell the story?

Super Saiyan 2 GT Goku. It's not like he couldn't, he just didn't feel like it.

It probably did, I took it from another forum and it sounds like it was. Thay are refering to the gameplay, not to the fans.

As long as I can get a False SSJ Goku VS Slug Boss Fight (which unlocks False SSJ) I really don't care what characters I get now that I know GT is in the game.

....oh and online tag/hide and seek with huge stage maps :D
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

I'm pretty sure that idea went out the window when they switched to this BS supers system.

I think the graphics look alright...still not as good as Burst Limit, but I like that they went for the "manga" look.

As for the gameplay...it's definitely a DBZ simulator. So much so, that it seems like you're just pressing buttons during cut-scenes.

No No No, I will be in denial until they flat out say its not gonna happen. Neva say nevar~

Besides, if this is spikes last hooray, let them have memorable transformations...I mean I'm not the only that wants it right? (echo) right?

I'm curious to see how other characters play ( Ha! yea I know how that goes) right now the games looking a bit redundant already but thats mostly because all we see is Goku doing all the ass kicking. I would like to see Vegeta, Freeza, Cell , or Broly do some ass kicking just to see how every character differs with this dumbed down way to play.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Can I just say that I think this game is going to be the Final Bout of this generation of consoles and just stop Dragon Ball games for a bit? I feel like this is what everything's pointing to.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Ooooo, the opening is going to be a 2D animation like DBZ Budokai 2 and 3 :D :D :D

So that is great!!!
