So I've been marathoning the show lately, and wow...it's crazy how this has only gotten even funnier as it's gone on.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Okay now I'm actually starting to wonder...Does everyone actually hate Vegeta8639 now? Last I heard he was teaching English in Japan and stuff, and maybe he was just busy, and I'm totally all for Weeklytubeshow's involvement in this show, but I'm not sure anymore...

It's not a matter of hate, at all. There was just scheduling errors and creative differences. He's a good guy and we like him, but circumstances required us to recast.

Will he be returning for Yamcha? Or will you continue to do that cut off thing ( )? Or will he see a recast too?

I also did a little marathon of my own, and you can see how the humour and editing get better each time. I never grow tired of rewatching episodes, this series is great.

I hate to insist though but I do this out of love and completness sake, this has been talked about before but maybe you could just edit the first and second movie a little bit, like, the opening and ending maybe and re-release them as they are, I know it's pre-TFS stuff, but it still belongs and it helps to show how you guys developed, and it least it's done. And this way you can just deal with Garlic Jr. when he arrives on the scene.
Also, isn't it possible to incorporate the early deleted scenes back in the episodes now? And re-release them as uncut? Again, mostly for completness sake and it doesn't seem to me like it'll take long to do.

Oh and another thing, it seems you don't do the little special things anymore like extras, adverts, deleted scenes, bloopers and FAQ's, any particular reason? Is it just lack of time?

Anyway thanks for everything you've been doing, this is the greatest fan work ever done! Keep up the amazing work!

Well, we've thought about it. I can't give a concrete answer right now as to whether or not remakes of movies 1 and 2 will ever happen, but they would definitely be remade from the ground up. Not re-uploaded as they are.

Maybe, one of these days, we'll just redo for the first couple of episodes. But until then, the episodes will remain as they are. A lot of that stuff was done with material that either no longer exists or would be hard to find on my old computer, with old software, etc.

It's really been a lack of time, unfortunately. We do have a lot of interest in putting out more, we're just so focused on the actual show right now, along with our lives.

I totally understand and it's good to know these things are on the drawing board for a possible future.

Maybe after the Freeza arc ends you guys could take a break and possibly, slowly, catch up with all these projects. I'm sure the majority of the fans wouldn't mind and would be understanding about it.

By this rate, the season will be rapped up by November if episodes come out once per month and if the season finale is a three parter and comes out daily/weekly like the season one finale.

Its just a guess. Once the Freeza Saga's done, I'll make a DVD Trailer for it just like I did with the Ginyu Force Saga!
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

It's too bad he left, it seems any Dragonball thing is inconsistent as ever!

I had a total DBZA moment last night when I went to see the latest Transformers movie. In the scene where Seymour asks Dutch his girlfriend's name, I immediately thought "Chuck", only for someone several rows behind me to actually call out "Chuck". So, yeah, it's pretty funny when stuff from the Abridged series starts filtering into other things.

Best scene in the entire episode: Freeza and Nail standing beside a pile of the latter's arms. *sigh* Am I a bad person for abmitting I laughed for almost a whole minute upon seeing that? :? Too bad about Vegeta3869 having to bow out of the cast. I really enjoyed his performance throughout the series so far. Then again, if our buddy Remix (WeeklyTubeShow) is getting involved that evens out the good from the bad. 8)

The sub goes back and forth on that allllll the time. That, and Namekians didn't flow as well.

Just curious but is Namekians technically wrong?

Yeah, I feel you on the flow. As for the usage of the name, I guess this isn't really the place for that kind of discussion.

Going back to episode 20, I've been thinking about what various characters would use for their entrance themes. The first character that comes to mind for me is Freeza. While 「F」 may work for him in other contexts (such as his ringtone), it lacks the grandness, the pompous arrogance that befits the character. For Freeza's entrance theme, I'd have to go with Vince McMahon's "No Chance In Hell"... although I'm divided on whether it'd be the original (and still current) version, or the dark reprise from the Corporate Ministry (yeah, that's going way back).

Trying to figure out what a "proper" theme for Vegeta would be, but I don't know. (Faulconer's bell-heavy leitmotif kind of makes me lean toward "For Whom The Bell Tolls" or "Hell's Bells", but there are other ideas rattling around as well.) I could totally see Roshi with the Dude Love theme, though. Totally fitting.

The amusing thing about the use of "Real American" for Goku is that a slight modification of the chorus makes it work well, although I guess it depends on which variation of "Saiyan" you want to use:
I am a re-al Sa-i-yan... (really drawing out the syllables) or
I am a re-al Sai-ya-man... or
I am a re-al Sai-ya-jin...
In any case, "real" would have to be drawn out to two syllables to make it work.

... I've spent way too much time on this, haven't I?

Hm. So the TFS website lets you marathon the episodes... in reverse.
Is there a way to do the opposite--pick an episode and then watch from there to the present?
I suppose there's youtube playlists... but episode 23 didn't exactly stay up a week... :(

I have the same problem. I'de prefer to watch the episodes on the TFS website, but it plays the episodes in reverse order. That makes the continious playback pretty useless.
