In the interview that was done during Japan Expo. People have been posting the video parts, which I don't think are done yet because Nostal/Treevax is still subtitling the later ones, and the text version he put on the French Namdai forums (which has been google translated around here as well). They confirm 2d animation and are still working on the theme song.

Yup or like the Budokai's. I am sure it'll look like the Kai opening more or less. Who knows, the said more manga style; I would guess maybe even manga colours? If that is the case I would rather see a drawing style similar to the late 80's era than the present one or GT one.... that's not likely though even if they said "more manga"...

I was never fond of the CGI openings to begin with.

The best CGI opening was for the first Tenkaichi/Sparking and the American song for it was epic, the rest were garbage.

I looked through all those links, the interview, the trailer, and the gameplay. Am I supposed to wait until the end of the gameplay to see it?

Can I just say that I think this game is going to be the Final Bout of this generation of consoles and just stop Dragon Ball games for a bit? I feel like this is what everything's pointing to.

I dunno, so far Final Bout's gameplay looks more fun than this.

The real problem are not the Quick Time Events but the likely poor contents...

I'm more worried about characters FIRST. After the roster, I can worry about which accesory Goku has on that day.

I fear we will have more or less the Tenkaichi 1 roster, that was good at the time, but after Tenkaichi 3, even Raging Blast 2 feels limited (no Great Saiyaman that was included in the first Tenkaichi )...

It's not gonna be "ultimate" enough to have all the characters or cover all of the story, much less have all the costumes...

And we know story has never been Spike's priority... It was characters... Now even characters will be lacking...

I personally think that even though GT is the worst of the 3 it is still enjoyable and I do like a lot of the character designs.

I don't care about GT characters and I find them ridiculous... The supidly overpowered Goku, the street badboy Vegeta, the UNultimate Gohan and so on...

I only want a character from GT:

Give it the Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Roster + Costumes and a few good modes (well done story, a bit of free roam, what-ifs and the like)... Then it's not necessarily a bad game, even with QTE...

Interesting... the only game I remember having that option was Final Bout... I always found it neat.

Actually... All three Sparking games, Final Bout, Infinite World, Budokai 3, and Shin Budokai: Another Road all featured GT stuff. (The Shin Budokai game didn't cover any story stuff, just Super Saiyan 4) This is just counting fighting games, too. There was also GT: Transformation.
