Ah, great point. Raditz was 1,500 while Gohan was 1,307. I want to say he was just shocked by Gohan's power because was a 4 year old half-breed and thus experienced a drastic drop in Yuuki, but Son Goten and Trunks were just 7 year olds. You may be onto something here. Though I still think their feats against Vegeta and Gohan imply they're at least Second Form Cell tier.

The last part of that quote seems to suggest that Android #18 isn't completely out-matched by Trunks and Son Goten. In fact, it kind of seems like she could probably beat them and that she was just surprised at that their power.

And then she settled the fight by cutting the brats in half with a Kienzan, thus exposing their true identity and disqualifying them. That's what she was talking about.

What is this 'yuuki' you keep mentioning.

Herms posted up a great explanation here. Shouki = true character and Yuuki = bravery. There's many instances in the series where a character's power is affected by them. Ginyu goes from 90,000 to below 23,000 inside Goku's body due to Shouki is probably the most obvious one. It's also likely to be the reason Piccolo feared Kaioshin (such reverence for deities is all Kami-sama, not Piccolo and so might constitute a drop in Shouki, and he was practically crapping himself over the implications of the god of gods showing up on Earth which might constitute a drop in Yuuki.)

I decided to make my newest revision of Battle Powers from Androids Arc on in chart form like what Senzu_Bean did on page 45.
Credit goes to him for coming up with a better way to showcase the gaps and such, especially Super Vegetto's power, which I admit I was very inspired by.

They are all thumbnails though, as the charts are pretty big.

Yeah, my Battle Powers constantly change as well. I was hoping to have been done changing everything for a while but that Daizenshuu quote changed everything again. Kind of annoying since one little thing like that makes me redo all of my Post-Freeza Z, GT, and movie levels. :/

The gaps in the first one are ridiculously huge because I've given up using the Battle Powers system for Dragon Ball and now just assign physical strength values as Ki doesn't mean much back then (everybody relied mainly on physical strength before Piccolo Daimao showed up.) Thus, while Goku's Ki is maybe only twice that of Mr. Satan's, he is many times physically stronger.

Note, this does not take into account for battle damage. Goku's KKx3/4 KHH were greatly effected from the strain on Goku from using Kkx3 previously... If Goku had just gone with the KHH from the get go with KKx3 , he would have easily won... Generally a fighter can still create a full powered blast even when damaged, but in Goku's case, he is using Kaioken to amplify his power, so any loss in power with Kaioken, cannot be used as normally one could since it's not their actual true power...

You have Vegetto way too high dude IMO. Nothing implies his base is anything but a housefly compared to Gohan-Boo. He can to instantly go SSjin just to deflect a Ki blast from him. I personally have even SSjin Vegetto only 1.33x above Gohan-Boo. A large part of why Gohan-Boo was getting raped so badly was because he was using his eyes to follow him, not Ki sensing.

At most, I can only see regular Vegetto being slightly above Gohan-Buu, due to him fighting as a Super Saiyan, when only fighting in regular mode would really get the point across, that he's a freaking monster.
So going by the official multiplier, Gohan-Buu should also be in the trillions +. This of course means going by the official Super Saiyan multipliers, that Goku and Vegeta are ants compared to Super Buu, Gotenks and Gohan.

Assuming Buu's absorptions are simple addition of battle power, at the very least, that is basically how I feel the SEG multipliers affects the power placements, most obviously SSJ Gotenks(pre) < base Gotenks(post) coming true.

I guess people can go with a Gohan-Buu <<<<<< base Vegetto POV, but that seems like blatant overrating Vegetto's power IMHO.

The other thing could be that Buu's absorptions don't work like simple addition, but rather gets some big multiplier on top of the addition, so Super Buu, Gotenks and Gohan aren't so godly compared to Goku and Vegeta afterall.

Like in this example:

Gotenks: 8,750,000.
Super Buu/SSJ 3 Gotenks: 3,500,000,000.
Gohan: 5,000,000,000.
Gotenks-Buu: 7,000,000,000,000.
Gohan-Buu: 8,500,000,000,000.

Where it works by first adding the battle power of the absorbed to Buu, then multiplying by 1,000, which means Buu must have held a huge bulk of his power back, when he fought Gohan.

In any case, I don't see the point in critisizing a power levels list for not following the official multipliers, when you're not required to do so in the first place. You can follow whatever rules you want to regarding these power levels. I mean that's why people from time to time make experimental lists, where they for example throw out all official battle powers to assign new ones to early Dragon Ball or what Xyex did with Saiyans not being able to transform to Super Saiyan at will, effectively rewriting the story.

Another example is Kaboom, who doesn't like inflated numbers, making him biased against going with huge gaps, like he did with Vegetto some pages back, where instead of Vegetto's battle power being Vegeta's multiplied by Goku's, it was only a fraction of it, that was multiplied together.
And Rocketman himself wasn't any good either(several tens of pages back though), when he based his power levels entirely on the manga, meaning the Daizenshuu values for Goku and Freeza were thrown out the window, but he gladly followed the SEG's: Vegetto = Vegeta*Goku, even though that same guidebook also has the Goku and Freeza values, as they were in Daizenshuu 7.

In short following the official multipliers et al is not required, you can do what you want with your power levels, they are only for fun afterall.

Yes, but I don't make a point of modifying my list every time some random line from the Daizenshuu maybe suggests something else. (But then, I also don't really keep a list.)

CoH recently bumped base kid Trunks up to 18's level based on one line, but something as simple and flat-out stated as "Goku x Vegeta = Vegetto"? BLARG IS TOO MUCH/MESSES WITH MY GT POWERS/DENIES SUPERIORITY OF ~GOKU~ or whatever.
