They're limited releases, similar to the Japanese boxes. Chances are the limited release part was in the contract Funi signed with Toei.

So, since I was curious as to why Dbox 2 isn't available on Amazon, I searched the internet a bit and found some anime store claiming that DragonBox vol. 1-4 to be discontinued.

For those of who is wondering when the sale ends it ends 11:59PM Saturday, July, 16... Since Amazon hasn't restocked Dragon Box Vol. 2, I think I'm going to order it from Walmart.Com. I have check RightStuf and thus far there are no signs of Dragon Box 2 going out of print yet, but who knows rather be safe than sorry which is why I'm getting the earlier boxes tomorrow...

Whelp, I was gonna wait another month to get box 4, as I wanted a few other things., but between the Amazon deal, some of the Dragon Boxes being on the top of Amazon's best sellers chart, that site reporting it as discontinued, and the fact that I happened to have about $25 on hand, I decided to go ahead and get the 4th Dragon Box.

Even if it's just an error or something, I don't want to take the chance and forever have a hole in my Z collection. The other stuff I wanted can more likely wait.

Ordered Dragon Box Z Volumes 1,3,4, and 5... Getting Volume 2 as soon as I can next month.... Still 4 Dragon Boxes for under $100 with free shipping isn't bad at all.... They should be arriving Monday according to Amazon.
