Is the NickToons Version Also The International Version?

Discussion specifically regarding the "refreshed" TV version of DBZ created in Japan for its 20th anniversary, including individual threads for each episode.

Well, we know how to find out for sure. Can anybody provide a link to episode 17 of the French dub?
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

Well, I just listened to episode 17 of the French dub, and the version of "Over the Star" that plays is the Japanese version. So, it looks like France got their footage and scripts directly from Japan, not from FUNimation...with the obvious conclusion being that their dub is based on the original Japanese version and not the English version as some other dubs are. Go France!

Now we just have to wait for other European dubs of Kai. I wonder if they'll be based on the French dub of Kai like the other European dubs of Z were based on the French dub of Z. After all, just like with Z, the first European country to recieve a dub of Kai was France.
