Yes, he's cooking. =D
I'll probably scan this as soon as I get it.
I may as well ask this in this thread - if anyone sees any other doujinshi with Vegetto in it, please let me know.
... or any shoujo-ai/yuri doujinshi. I'm seriously disappointed about the lack of decent DB doujinshi of those genres. :<

I probably wouldn't mind buying a few that have some decent art and do something interesting. I don't really care if the stuff has an H theme or not, but I would prefer something with an actual plot, maybe similar to Multiverse, the two AFs, or Who Want to be a Superhero (=P). Also, I'd enjoy if they introduce new characters that aren't just bad fan creations (like Goku's 8th bastard son). I know there have been some with stuff like Chi Chi-Bulma or Pan-Bra fusions, the infamous Taanipu, etc. That would be the kind of stuff I'm looking for, I don't really find characters being put into absurd situations for no apparent reason other than "that's what I wanted to do" all that great. :/

I dunno, I quite like the “absurd situations.” It’s probably because I can’t read Japanese, but with gag stories, at least the art is fun to look at and you can usually follow what’s going on without knowing the language.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:I probably wouldn't mind buying a few that have some decent art and do something interesting. ... unless when you mean by absurd, things like "Goku goes super saiyan 26!!!", then yeah, I agree with you.
I also like doujinshi that have plots with substance too, though. But, y’know, with not speaking the language … I kind of have to rely on my Japanese friends – “what is going on here? What are they saying!?”
I’m not fussed when buying doujinshi to be honest, if the art is nice or if it has a cool cover I’ll buy it, regardless of the actual story/subject matter.
I hope there's more of him in it!Innagadadavida wrote:I would like to see scans of any more images with Tiencha.

Dragon Box 5 and Viz Big 1. Now to wait for Box 4 to come back in stock. I gotta say, I really like the Viz Big, although it can be pretty hard to hold.

Chibi SS4 Gogeta. General madness with OP characters with humorous defining character traits. Suspicious reminiscing on part of Vegito and Gogeta. Dang it, this is one of the reasons Dragonball fics hold any interest for me. The other is serious pieces by the intimately-versed writers, ala Kaboom's GT revised, but that's beside the point.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
One thing I’ve noticed with doujinshi is the character trait thing. For example, in doujins where Goku’s multiple forms (like SSJ and SSJ4, for example) are shown as individual characters, they usually have similar traits even if the authors are different. Like, SSJ4 is usually depicted as sort of a delinquent type.BlazingFiddlesticks wrote:characters with humorous defining character traits.
Don’t really know how that started, maybe one author came up with that and others just ran with it.
I think it’s pretty cool anyway.

Dragon Box 1... back in December. I really want to get the rest but I missed the sale and now Dragon Box 2 is $60 and that is just way to much for me. I've been eyeing "GT the Complete Series" but don't know if I should buy it, I'm still hoping it gets a Dragon Box release.

Ok so I got around to opening/photographing Digital Grade 3, and I must say the Semi-Perfect cell blew me away. This quickly became one of my most favourite gashapon and DragonBall figures on the whole. For the size the detail is downright amazing, from the vibrant paint used on him to the wonderfully dynamic charging stance he has. The smirk on his face with the lips is absolutely great stuff. This figure looks good from any angle and has earned his spot in my favourite figures list. If not for the detail then for the paint-job alone. I don't usually like villains so it means that much more to me that I took such a liking to this figure.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
I'd start collecting gashapons, because they always look amazing, but I just have so many issues with them...and myself. lol I really dislike figures that aren't in scale with each other, have metallic paint (unless it would make sense, like on a sword), or clear plastic parts (unless its needed for an actual ki attack or say 20's dome to see his brain, not like on the DG3 Goku's hair or hands).
