''Orange Bricks'' discussion topics?

I was wondering if there are, buried away down on this forum, discussion topics about the 'good 'old' Orange Bricks (yes, I'm aware I probably used the wrong expression to describe them ). You know, like the topics that are up every time once a US DBox is released, but only that for the previous issue of the DBZ TV series. Or do you guys hate them so much that there wasn't even discussion for each release?

I tried to search for it once but I think I got nothing. It doesn't need to be titled EXACTLY ''Discussion topic for DBZ Season Set #'', but just be an equivalent of it. Does anyone know/remember anything of the sort? You known, just so I won't search for it in vain.

Not that anyone can't gave me a direct link if they want to.

There was plenty of discussion about them. You'll probably have better luck finding them if you search for "remastered" or "season" and terms like that, and have "Topic titles only" selected. Read the topics at your own risk, and remember not to reply to old threads (though since many of them ended up locked, you couldn't anyway...).

Looking back on these old discussion topics is strange from the perspective of someone who's walked in basicaly mid-way into FUNi's DBox run - mostly seeing all the folks who thought FUNi would never release a 4:9 Z again (Or even GT and DB bricks.).

Seeing a lot of broken/replaced images tends to confuse matters a bit more.

Would the bonus features on the UUEs be worth tracking down the specific volumes for? I got the "First Strike" set already for the alternate dubs.

Looking back at the Seasons 2-4 stuff also has me thinking; maybe the original Toonami performances are what FUNi means by "The original voice actors" on the Blu-rays?

I would say yeah, if you want to watch the Spanish dub or are a fan of Nathan Johnson. (It's a 5.1 mix on there, but only in stereo on the orange bricks.)

Hm, just wanted to thanks Kaboom and Pokewhiz7 for their replies (especially the former since he warned me of the existence of the ''topics only'' option, which I was previously unware of, it seems ).

Well, perhaps this will help me in deciding which Orange Bricks are actually good for purchase, seeing as I probably will have to buy some of them at least if I want to complete the darn series (DBoxes are way too expensive from where I import them, so it's hard to collect all seven without toring apart my damn wallet)-- while Orange Bricks are also costly, they are a lot less, so mixing them with DBoxes to complete the series will cut my slack, I guess. It's so good that there are two products available.


...so, I just suppose I felt the need to wrap this up. Thanks a lot again, guys!

Sorry to bump this, but I finally managed to sell my orange bricks. I just have to send them on Monday. The same day I get the money, I'm ordering the last four dragon boxes. I'm really upset I had to skip the sale last month, I just didn't have the money...

Sorry to hear that you missed sale suprised you were able sell but I suppose so people just like crappy dub score.

I OFFICIALY sold them, just got the money today. Sold it to someone here in Croatia for cca $175. I think it's a great deal, for me of course...
