In case anyone's interested...:

Post by Conan the SSJ » Sun Nov 06, 2005 12:32 pm

I want to give away my copy of Budokai 3, the original NA released edition. The reason for this being that I'm getting the "Greatest Hits" release, and I'll honestly have no more use for the original release. I, myself, will pay for shipping and handling, so there's no worries on having to pay any money whats-so-ever. I can also send a memory card with 100% capsules data, but I would need a little cash for that since memory cards don't come cheap. If anyone is interested in this, let me know here and now, because I'd hate to think this game will just collect up dust. The disc is in practical mint condition, not one finger print or scratch on it, and the game booklet will of course be included. Did I mention, this is 100% FREE? Anyone interested?

I already have B3, but how much are you charging for the memory card? I don't have the patience to spend 3 years working on Dragon Arena.

I'll take the game if it's not already taken. I've been meaning to buy it but never did. I appreciate it Conan.

Alrighty, gallagtor, I'll instant messege you (my AIM being Shadow Silenter) and we'll talk out the details of mailing it. In case anyone's interested in buying a memory card with 100%capsules like B-kun, just let me know. Only $15.

EDIT: gallagtor, in case we don't see each other's AIM online, just PM me.

Why buy the re-release when its the same game, even though they did include the japanese voices (and perhaps the extras). Seems like a cash waster to me for those who bought it once already, than again, buying the 1st Budokai, then the 2nd and then the 3rd was a waste too with the few differences in terms of gameplay between them.

I'd wait for a GameCube version, because then I know the load times will be short and sweet. Damn the PS2's loading times to hell!

All things point to no GC release for B3. So it's PS2 or nothing.

<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Well, this will only help a fraction of PS2 owners out there, but there is a disc you can purchase that will make the load times nearly null and void.

It requires an original, non slim model PS2, the Playstation 2 Hard Drive, and the HD Loader disc sold on many import websites. What it does is download the Budokai 3 game directly to your PS2 Hard drive. Then you just play the game directly off your system rather than the disc drive. It loads so fast you can't even spin the analog sticks fast enough to get a single Saibaman to sprout fully on the loading screen! Makes Budokai 3 extremely fun in two player mode because you can do more matches in a shorter amount of time.
