Well you're the brilliant scientist, Bardock! Why didn't you figure it out!

But, seriously. Lolwut?

I have more questions now than I did even from the last page.

I think I get it now. Bardock killed Freeza. That was the trigger that skewed U3 off the main timeline. So when Raichi showed up for revenge, instead of going to Earth to tango with the last remaining Saiyans, he attacked Planet Vegeta itself, apparently conquering it.

That still raises questions of what the Raichi in U18 did since Plan To Eradicate the Saiyans has major canon problems. But it also might mean Shadow Man there is indeed Piccolo Daimaou who either beat Goku or conquered Earth in his absence.

Still not sure how Tapion fits in, though.

Its tech. Probably some eye implants in the cornea or something like that. Makes sense... Even the Earthlings have some amazing technology in DB, so it makes sense that the Saiyans would eventually encounter advanced eye implant technology in some world and use it to their advantage.

As for the Raichi thing... My guess is that in this universe, the Saiyans probably survived Freeza's attack and defeated him... Maybe Bardock became a SSJ when he attacked Freeza and killed him in his first form.

However, years later, maybe around the time of the Cell games, Raichi put in motion his plan to eradicate all Saiyans and they were defeated by Raichi. Bardock survived though, and has been living out of Raichi's radar, which is why he asked for his presence to be a secret. Bardock probably accepted the offer of joining the tournament because he saw in his visions that Raichi would be defeated there and he wanted to be there to witness it and maybe come up with a way of doing it himself in his universe once the tournament ends.

There is no indication that the people in universe 18 know Raichi or ever encountered him, unlike Broly, Bojack and Coola.

Until that happens, I think its best to assume that the "movie", or any alternate version of it, didn't happen in the main universe, probably because Raichi didn't survive the war with the Saiyans. He only survived in Universe 3.

Maybe Tapion and the mystery guy don't have anything to do with the Saiyan - Raichi business. Its a big universe after all... Tapion might know Raichi due to other circumstances.

Yeah I'm starting to think the mysterious figure might be King Piccolo too, only powered up. Maybe he still had a son in this universe, and fused with him and Kami.

Though it's worth noting that just because Bardock killed Freeza, doesn't mean Goku never went to Earth. At best, maybe Bardock went to Earth to search for Goku and brought him back early on.

Well that was certainly an interesting twist...I never would have thought up some kind of eye implant to make them automatically turn into an Oozaru when turned on, that's actually pretty nifty. Major kudos to Salagir and the other authors of this comic.

I'm also digging the theory that Bardock beat Freeza by transforming into a SSJ, the saiyans lived on until Raichi took his revenge, and that that might be a super-powered Piccolo Daimao back there. All of that alone makes this an incredibly interesting universe, since all the strongest warriors seem to be from all over rather than having been together before this.

Though, Raichi's not really that strong himself right? It's been a long time since I watched either version of his appearance, but I don't recall him ever actually fighting himself, just letting loose those mutant guys, the gas machines, the 'ghost warriors', and Hatchyack or whatever his name is. It's weird that he's seemingly here without Hatchyack.

Well, its my personal theory that this Raichi will actually be able to transform himself into Hatchyack, making him "two for one". Otherwise he wouldn't be strong enough.

In the same fashion, its also my personal theory that Tapion will be able to control the Hirudegarn demon inside him to fight, otherwise he also probably wouldn't be strong enough.

Is it me, or is Raditz in Oozaru form very... blocky and straight?

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Goku brought a bird back to life by turning Super Saiyan, so I guess Bardock can fix his armor with positive energy. Or something.

Hmm, both of those would be pretty interesting to see. Though that'd kinda make Tapion the DB equivalent to a jinchurikki from Naruto heh.

As is Raditz apparently. ...I wonder if Nappa has these implants too?

Yeah, that's right. I didn't think of Naruto when I came up with that theory, but it was probably because of Naruto that I thought of that.

Of course, even if I happen to be right, I don't expect it to be just like Naruto.

Well yeah, I figure if something like that does turn out to happen it won't be a complete rip of the Naruto situation, but it's still a pretty cool idea if they do end up using it here.

Yeah, I still think Raditz is going to lose this one. But at least he's putting up a fight.

Yes Raditz, he has completely forgotten about how much weaker it is than being a Super Saiyan
