Piccolo has 4 fingers in the manga. Toei screwed him up.

Toei didn't screw anything up. All humanoid characters were given 5 digits because they would have to pay a fine to show characters with less on TV. Due to Japan's history, they don't like to show anything that could be related to yubitsume, the act of cutting off a finger to pay for a crime (usually associated with the Yakuza).

That sucks. I don't see why dragons, demons or aliens cannot have 4 fingers because of that.

The prospect of how long Multiverse will be, and seeing how interesting the plot is getting.......has finally make me fall into the thought that....this is a 2-to-3 pages per week comic.

I don't know what's gonna kill me first: Waiting for a new Dragon Ball movie, waiting for the ending of Multiverse or waiting for the ending of Toyble's AF.

If it's any consolation, the first round is nearly over, probably drawing to a close in the chapter following the next special. And with fewer competitors, each subsequent round will be shorter and shorter. So while we may not necessarily be near the end, we're probably going to see a quickened pace from here on in.

Honestly, I'm in no rush. The possibility that the whole thing might grind to a halt prematurely is a concern but assuming that doesn't happen I'm perfectly willing to take some time away from the tournament to build relationships and see how the characters interact. We've gotten a little of that but I want more.

You are right in saying it will be faster from now on. It gets exponentially shorter each round, as the number of participants if halved.

Mathematically the first round is over half of the tournament (since X > X/2 + X/4 + X/8...)

I'm not so sure about that, because this comic isn't entirely about the tournament. I think in the following rounds we'll see more character development. It'd probably be something like (X, X/1.5, X/2.25, X/3.4...)

The tournament will not necessary get shorter. Since stronger fighters have won their matches in the 1st round, we may see longer fights from now on.

There will still be some gag fights, such as Gotenks' upcoming fight against NekoMajin, who, as far as we know, is only there just for the point of being there, or 18 vs. Arale.

In chapter 201 Raditz flings an electrifying ki bullet towards Goku after blocking his kamehameha.

Basically the technique is the saiyan version of "taking the belt to the kid". Especially necessary when your boy gives you lip as a giant monkey.
