Composer of the music in DBZ Game

Post by ffman1985 » Sat Aug 13, 2011 9:53 am

Do anyone know the composer of the music for DBZ Ultimate Battle 22? It is a PS1 game released on 1995.

Here are some bgm of the game:

The soundtrack lists the all-compassing group responsible for the game's music as "Project DBZ", but Kenji Yamamoto is specifically credited for:

- music-composed
- arrangement
- keyboards
- computer programming & direction

Kazuo Kogure was the executive director.

Personally, I love how Yuriko Mori isn't credited for things like "lyrics", but rather, "words creating" :P.

The one who made the 90's DBZ game music is also the composer of the DB Kai music?

Yes, it's the same Kenji Yamamoto. He had been with the franchise for a very long time.

I have the English version of Raging Blast 1, and I from what I gather it has the same music.

But I thought the Japanese versions of those games had the Kikuchi score...

Hmm... I remember now... They DO use the Kikuchi score. VegettoEX himself even said that he just assumed it was the same (and felt like a jackass...I believe...when he found out it used the Kikuchi music in Japan.).

It's not your fault; Mike lied to you! ...Albeit unintentionally.
