Prepare to be even more disappointed. [Maybe]

I did enjoy the new Megahouse set though and I typically like most Megahouse figures in general. I see what you mean though since I've been disappointed with a few purchases that I had high expectations in. Today might be a good example. :(

I got another Megahouse set...

The Gohan/Piccolo and SS3 Goku from the set were golden, which was a huge disappointment. I'll say the overall set as a whole is sort of a disappointment compared to some of the figures I already have. I do really like the car figure though! I know I had the Freeza/Goku facing the wrong way, but I don't care enough to retake pictures. :P

Yeah I probably will be dissapointed, the two pieces I want the most from that are the Vegetto energy sword and the Majin Vegeta hugging Trunks before his altruistic bombing death. How much you wanna' bet those exact two pieces will be the damn gold version? Lol. :/
Man that sucks, it's like they can tell which figures we want to be colour and just make them golden instead. I really don't like this "random" make two figures golden crap. It's really annoying. Just make the whole damn set in colour one time.
I HATE being dissapointed with my purchases, and I've had a couple crap purchases recently so this is a blah moment for me. I agree though, I do like some of the sets.

I always seem to get the figures I want the most in the gold versions whenever I buy only one box of Megahouse figures. Today was a perfect example of that. I also bought a box of the Cell Megahouse figures from RightStuf a few weeks back hoping to get the Piccolo/Cell nd Trunks/Goku figure, but naturally I got gold in both of those too..

With Comiket just ended, a lot of new (and re-prints of old) doujinshi have gone on sale on YHJ. I've been snapping them up ... and spending WAY too much money on them.

@StarRot Nice grabs on the doujinshi. After reading all those doujinshi, do you ever mix up what actually happend in the story of Dragonball with what happend in the Doujinshi? :P I feel like I would.

Heheh, nah.
But some doujinshi makes me go: “I wish THIS was in the manga/anime!”

Has anyone who's ordered the "Chozou Art Collection: Super Saiyan Son Gokou (Goku) Ver. 2 Clear Hair", gotten theirs yet? I've seen a few people have gotten theirs, but I still havn't. I ordered mine through HobbyLinkJapan and it was shipped out on August 1st. So it's been a little bit over 2 weeks now and I'm starting to get worried.

I cancelled my order on that. :( If you shipped through SAL then I wouldn't really be that worried yet. I typically go with the faster shipping methods if it's reasonable enough.

Nah I did the exact same and mine shipped out the exact same date as you, don't even sweat it, I don't expect mine until next week. I only get worried after a full 30 days and that's only ever happened once, lol.

Just picked this up off Ebay to add to my shrine haha
It is the original Funimation DVD's of Vegeta saga all the way through to the Kid buu saga; most of them with the boxes the DVD's came in. Then it also came with the GT lost episodes (with the box), and the rest of Dragon Ball GT. I also got the GT movie, 9 of the 13 movies, History of Trunks special, and the Bardock and Trunks 2 in 1 metal casing DVD.
Every DVD has no scratches of smudges, the cases are all perfect and the only thing wrong with it is the Android box the DVD's came in is a little rough; other then that it is all perfect.
It was $220 free shipping, and considering I like the original DVD's a lot, but all of mine are beat up from when i bought them as a kid, I wanted to get this.

The bottom comic – I’m pretty sure it’s just a cute story about Marron and co.
Top one – Given who the author is (butaboro./kube), I’m going to make a guess that it’s filled with gay sex. Lots and lots of gay sex.

The time machine is a bitch to assemble. The legs kept falling off and it drove me insane! And to think I paid $20 for it.

That is so ado- *sees 18+* Dammit!
In fairness, only the second part is adult.
The first part is very, very cute - if incredibly cracky.

Ok so I got the Medicos Goku in and... I love him! He's huge! Super detailed and heavy. You can really see the work put into this. I love his translucent hair and the box is beautiful as well. A nice step up from version one. If you haven't gotten this already get it. It's an amazing piece. I'll probably pick up a second in a month or so. I recommend this to any figure collector out there- it's simply marvelous. I think I'll be keeping this one in it's box for now since the nice large window box gives a wonderful display of the figure in it's box anyway. I won't do a thorough review or anything at this current point in time, just all around amazing piece.
