IIRC, Raditz clearly states that he is (was born) a low class Saiyan.verto wrote:Wasn't it the opposite? Kakarotto/Goku had to go through a lot and train most of his life just to reach a power level of about 500 which he could increase to about 900 on specials attacks. If Radditz was just like Goku, he also had go through a lot just to reach the average Saiyan level.
Although, I don't remember where I heard that, it could be a random fan thing that just stuck in my mind.

u sure those movies were included in the universe 18, since I thought it was an alternate version of Gohan who told the alternate pan about Bojack, not the "mainsteam" gohan.

How do you know Bojack happened? I only remember a gohan from an alternate universe related to the pan that got killed to acknowledge having killed Bojack in the past.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:*Sigh*Nex Carnifex wrote:u sure those movies were included in the universe 18, since I thought it was an alternate version of Gohan who told the alternate pan about Bojack, not the "mainsteam" gohan.

Next time please try to be a little more observant, then you won't have to ask the same question twice when you already have an answer. If you would have paid attention and clicked the link in the quote, you'd see that I took the words directly from Salagir himself at the top of the comments section on that page.Nex Carnifex wrote:How do you know Bojack happened? Sorry for being unobservant. By the way, who the hell is going around making red grammar corrections on everyone's posts? I can type pretty well, I just don't because I am not expecting to be graded on these posts and it really doesn't make much of a difference if I capitalize my sentences. That must be hard for you to grasp, huh? I have a hard time accepting and following the rules even after 2 formal strikes/warnings, and I'll receive further, potentially permanent, disciplinary action if I keep up my rebellious and irreverent attitude.

Well that in my opinion is pretty silly. It's just Dragon Ball. Yeah it's fun to take it seriously, but I don't think most people are going to cast you off as a fool for not capitalizing the first letter of a sentence detailing monkey alien transformations. But whatever.

[minimodding] The point is this forum was created so that civilized people can have a great time discussing a series they enjoy. Part of that includes the people participating making their replies like any other intelligent person. It's not like you have only 200 characters to work with on your replies, so please just follow the rules you agreed to. [/minimodding]Nex Carnifex wrote:Well that in my opinion is pretty silly. On Topic:
I hope this Bardock side chapter brings some really interesting to the table, because I don't want it be a TV Special retelling except oh, he escaped the blast then HOLY SHIT he's a Super Saiyan. Maybe he decided to wait and train to defeat Freeza instead of going on a suicide mission.

Edit: Go ahead and correct my grammar but don't edit parts of my post off mmk thank you. Does having correct grammar mean I can't take any liberties in my speech like having sentences flow naturally instead of robotically perfect? Since this is what your edit to my post implies.
This was meant to be an edit but my phone messed up.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Plenty of people here have natural sounding sentences and good grammar at the same time. They're not mutually exclusive. And personally, I find bad grammar much harder to read, which is pretty much the opposite of flowing naturally. It's probably even worse for all the forum members who aren't native English speakers.Nex Carnifex wrote:Edit: Go ahead and correct my grammar but don't edit parts of my post off mmk thank you. But this is the Multiverse thread, not the grammar thread, so let's get back on topic and stay that way.

Just saying his edits depicted that, my grammar was pretty fine I just took a few liberties with dialect. Anyway, do you accept this comic as what happened after z or just a fun comic. I really like it I kinda want to.TripleRach wrote:Plenty of people here have natural sounding sentences and good grammar at the same time. They're not mutually exclusive. Hmm, maybe we'll see Goku and Raditz's mother in this comic. Also, why would a punch make a "blarf" sound?

How do saiyans know what insects are?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Maybe they have other creatures besides themselves on that planet. And if not, they probably learned from all their other planetary travels.Nex Carnifex wrote:How do saiyans know what insects are?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I think since the Dragon Ball universe is basically a fantasy spin of science fiction, where animals are sentient and all aliens look like human beings and some can transform in Earth animals (monkeys), you can't really apply evolution, biologically or culturally, to it. So really it just so happens that Japanese is the cosmic language that even magical dragons and gods speak, cause the science fiction isn't really science fiction just an expanded fantasy. Same goes for terms, all insect like creatures are insects, its just something all the species know since they are all connected to these magical phenomenon.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It was fantasy with light science fiction elements in the very beginning, leaving pretty much everything explainable by the use of the Dragon Balls. Once we go into space and see all of these different races speaking Japanese, though...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It basically is just fantasy, there is no science in Dragon Ball, and when there is it doesn't apply to our universe. All the characters are magical including the saiyans, you can't explain the Dragon Ball universe through any twisted scientific reasoning, all the species are just different products of some magical origin.Sun-Wukong wrote:It was fantasy with light science fiction elements in the very beginning, leaving pretty much everything explainable by the use of the Dragon Balls.
