A friend on YouTube told me, but then I saw the commercial. They're starting at Movie 8 (Broly) though
the commercial said "The only thing bigger than Dragon Ball Z Kai is Dragon Ball Z Movies" Its not a redub however
which is a real hit and miss. I hope Tanooki will be able to add a new page to the Nicktoons Edits?
if not I can do it myself but Wednesday September 7th at 8!

I'm wondering what type of footage they're using and If I see the commercial I'll be able to tell.

Damn, this is one of the times I really wish I had Nicktoons.
But, it doesn't interest me too much considering it's the original FUNi dub.

I might tune in for Movie 12 at least; I remember being pleasantly impressed with its dub, but then again this was back before things like the Kai dub and TFS, so I don't know how well it holds up.
If I'm home when Movie 8 happens to come on, I'll take a peek at it.

Its not the Double Feature footage, I couldn't really tell, it look like the same master that was on Toonami.

But Ani-Nation...I always depend on you for commercial uploads XD Someone will end up poping up the commercial on YouTube within the end of the week probably.
My only problem with this will be the god damn voice inconsitency D:< maybe they'll suprise us and redub...oh wait...the Buu arc movies >__> as I was saying maybe they'll redub the voices for Teen Gohan and Bulma...god dammit BUU ARC MOVIES D:<

If they're ok with inconsistent voices then maybe they'll air Z Buu Saga. I would of uploaded it if I didn't have school :<

Hopefully it won't be as inconsistent as what the NZ Cartoon Network airings were a year or two ago. All used the original fullscreen versions, though Bio Broli showed the Japanese title card and played Cha-La Head Cha-La animation and Coola's Revenge was the Double Feature footage with Kikuchi's score but had the fullscreen Lord Slug opening with US theme. But I was glad it played the Ocean Dub for movies 1-3 since it gave me the opportunity to record the rare TV version of Tree of Might straight to DVD.

I wouldn't count on a redub. That would take time. Unless they've been working on the project for a long time now. I'm also kind of confused as to why they wouldn't air all the movies in proper order, though.

I'm not interested in anything featuring Naldony as Gohan or Vollmer as Bulma, and with the usual terrible translation.

I can confirm its English music with the old single footage.
I heard some Nathan Johnson Janemba music in the back.

I wonder if Nicktoons is looking into getting more DragonBall related material from FUNimation. With this turn of events I'd have to think so. Hmm...

Faulconer music in Kai. Putting money on it....on a serious note, maybe the original DragonBall and hell maybe even GT will air. Maybe sometime during the Cell Games they'll air the History of Trunks
I wish they did the movie thing sooner. They could've aired the Bardock special during the Freeza arc.

My question is how they'll handle the material if they choose to re-edit it; I know Toonami had TV cuts for a few of the movies, but what if Nicktoons wishes to redub a line? Will they just cut it alltogether?

Woah, weird! I'd assume that Nicktoons would just air Kai-related things and not backtrack to Z things (movies included). Gonna say this increases the chances of Nicktoons airing the Boo Saga and maybe even GT. Dunno how they'd go about explaining the order of things, though ("y'see, ZKai, is actually called Kai which is based on Z, which is a continuation of a series you've never seen and uh... GT's just kinda there, too").
