Do you guys believe this dude? He said, He's going to release DBAF episode 1 on the internet on November 30, 2011. Do you guys think he can get sued for doing this?

No.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Read the comments, it's just a fan-made thing he's doing.

They won't get sued, although this is likely going to suck. These people spelled "currently" with an "A", not to mention the "D" in "Dragonball" looks like an "A", and the "M" in "Malevolence" is a rip off Metallica. Plus, I don't think there is a "United States" in the DB universe. They can't be very bright. "Gohan is now the dean of a high-school" ................. with clothes from the Trunks special that is. He totally looks the part. Bulla (or Bra, I don't know at this point) has a tail? Since when? They want to make an entirely new show, and they can't even draw their own character designs? What does that tell you? Overall, this attempt=fail for now. We'll see when it is actually released. I'll watch it if I remember, but I'll probably forget by then.

There are no countries in the way we view them in Dragon Ball... heck, there's a president of the world.

He has as much chance of getting sued as all the AF fanfics and comics, I'd assume. (That is, not very likely.)

And on that note, I'm gonna move this to the fan works section.

Wow, you just insulted the guy who runs this site. Anyway, I was wondering how many fan-made AF mangas there were. I'm sure there's a lot, but is there any one that is particularly good?

Just like most fan made AF animated series, I'm pretty sure it's going to be shock footage edited with MS paint.

Probably.
I'm much more interested in this AF:

I think the story will be ... not so good, but at least it's a step up from a lot of other Dragonball fan animations.

I haven't insulted nobody, I just say "Please keep things on-topic and friendly.", because if he ask that, he must respect me too.

Being respectful and friendly doesn't mean the staff will ignore people and let them say and do whatever they want.

Account suicide is the new fad these days huh?

On topic: This will probably have horrible animation. And are those character cut from other fan pics because they look like they used Paint.

I'm glad I don't follow "fads". Anyway, yes. Those pictures were most likely all rips off of other fans. I already stated earlier that the pictures don't match the context. For example "Gohan is now the dean of a highschool." Well, the picture that they had to go with that statement was just a picture of him in the Trunks special. And.............. Bulla has a tail?

The only thing they have done right is Bra's name. She is called Bra in the manga and the Japanese version, but for some random reason Funimation changed it to Bulla... :x

On topic: Those guys don't knowa thiing about the world in Dragon Ball. USA? Canada? Germany? Japan? Who? And in their comments below the video, they say this:
We moved them to make viewers feel like their heroes are near them, sort of like how Spider-Man made New Yorkers feel.
So, Goku and co. are American Super Heroes who "unfortunately" happen to live in Japan. But don't worry, they are in USA now, feel safe, be friend with them! It's gonna suck soooo badly, that I want to watch it and laugh with it!

PS: Don't take me wrong, I have no problem with Americans or any other country, I just laugh with this AF thing.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
