So what point are you trying to make?
I think he's implying that since the Dragon World contains Jupiter, perhaps their Solar System should be similar to the rest of our Real Life Solar System and should thus follow the same rules unless otherwise noted.

Whatever the case may be, I don't think there's anything wrong in pointing out an observation as Rocketman's, when it was typed in a neutral way and only pointed out in the first place, because the author references a real life planet.
Though getting minor details like that wrong doesn't make the comic bad IMO.

Well, he does this stuff a lot: trying to apply real-life science to a series like Dragon Ball. So what if the Dragon World has Jupiter? It also has Vegeta, Namek and Planet Freeza No. 79, none of which exist in our solar system. And Cell said he could destroy the solar system in the Dragon World, and we have no reason to doubt him, whereas that's impossible in our universe.

Couldn't he just see that it's supposed to be a humourous comic without trying to make some analytical scientific observation that doesn't even matter?

"Venus isn't visible at night" was known long before science was invented. You may as well be grumpy about "Earth's sky isn't red" or "things don't fall upwards".

Right, because most people in the world actually know that Venus isn't visible at night.

Its just as much common knowledge as the sky being blue so, obviously, the author of the comic should just be criticized for making a mistake like that.

Yes, actually, I do think most people know the order of the planets.

I don't see why this is such a big deal. If I wanted to be pedantic I'd bring up how a literal rocket scientist doesn't notice that the meteor shower isn't in line with Earth's orbit (meteor showers are the cosmic equivalent of driving your car through a swarm of bugs), or how it's a really bad idea to try to see meteors in the middle of a big city (artificial light washes out the weaker lights of the meteors) or that it would take hours, more likely days, for the wreckage of another planet to travel to the Earth or that the rubble would tend to stay on the same orbit as Venus and whatever did get flung outwards would spread out quickly and not be likely to produce a huge, brilliant meteor shower on the comparatively tiny target of Earth...

Most people who know the order of the planets in the solar system (and their names) don't know the little detail that Venus isn't actually visible at night.

Schools usually make a point of teaching the kids their names and order, and some other details. But I really don't think they make a point of teaching that Venus can't be seen at night. And for for most people, that's most of what they learn/remember from school regarding the planets in the solar system, since most go on to study other things.

Basically, I only called you on that because you made it sound like that simple detail is as obvious for everyone as the sky being blue. That just makes you sound somewhat "disconnected" from reality.

Since I don't like the cover art of Ultimate Tenkaichi, I modified Goku's face.

It seems like the only thing that was modified was the angle of his mouth or is there something else about it?

I wasn't making a big deal. It's just that a humorous comic with a minor, unimportant scientific error doesn't warrant a response pointing that out when all it's supposed to be is just that: a humorous comic. I just think that your comment was kinda pointless. If it's in a thread like this, then there's a point. But not in this occasion.

Yea, Kei, I like yours a bit better. Even though it's a really small edit. The original art looks like Goku is yelling while staring ahead. While your edit makes it actually look like Goku is yelling at something. Very nice.

Me neither, I for one eagerly await your 90 page thesis on the scientific faults of Captain Underpants.

Funny thing coming from a hardcore dub fan which is full of mistakes (There know way Freeza could know about Cats or Dogs.)

For that matter, there's no way Freeza would speak the language of a small island country from a planet he's never been to.

Also, Rocketman is not a dub fan. He's a manga fan who prefers the dub voices in his video games.
