Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Yes, because they know he will attack them due to time travel. Even aside from that, Dr Gero was part of the Red Ribbon Army.
If Goku didn't wish for Kid Buu to be resurrected, would you consider that as pure heart?
I'd consider it a neutral act either way. Kid Buu will be resurrected anyway, that's how the DB afterlife works. Goku just asked for them to speed Buu's paperwork through and send him back to Earth in time for him to fight him.
Yet, he take responsibility of the consequences, risking lives doesn't make you wicked and evil.
Life Imprisonment is risking lives because the murderer still lives and have a chance to escape but it's more humanitarian or pure heart than Death Execution.
Is it?
Instead of using Mafuba, Goku spared Piccolo Jr. so they can fight again, that's risking lives right? yet he could still ride the Kintoun Cloud, is that wicked and evil?

Piccolo Jr hadn't done anything but talk big.

And blow up the WT island, but we were told it all got evacuated.

Piccolo Jr. is a resurrected murderer, Goku spared the life of a murderer similar to Vegeta, Dr. Gero, Fat Buu and Kid Buu, risking the lives of the entire world, yet he could still ride the Kintoun Cloud after Piccolo Jr. Arc and Vegeta Arc. Is that what you called evil and wicked?

The keyword being resurrected.

Yes, Piccolo Jr has the memory of his former self/father but its quite clear that he wasn't ever quite the same after he died as Piccolo Daimao.

My personal theory is that Piccolo Daimao transfered his soul to his offspring at the moment of his death, where it "fused" with the soul of his son (otherwise we have to assume that in the moments between the creation of Piccolo Jr and Piccolo Daimao's death, Piccolo Jr had no soul because Daimao wasn't dead yet and so his soul couldn't have passed on to his son yet).

So Piccolo Jr is Piccolo Daimao, but he also is more than that, and that was what allowed him to change and be different from his former self.

But of course, Goku spared him just because he wanted a rival, nothing more.

I think this thread needs a revival so I'l post a few ideas.
Goku (RRA army arc) vs Lelouch from Code Geass (with Nightmare).

That huge robot thing Assistant Black used vs Death Egg Robot (final boss of Sonic 2)

Butta vs Super Sonic.

Piccolo Jr. isn't his father. And Goku realises that the new Piccolo isn't so bad.

In any case, I wouldn't use the words evil or wicked. Selfish and stupid, yeah....
It's sorta implied that he isn't aware of the consequences when he makes those decisions.

I don't know much about Code Geass, so i can't argue there. The robot thing Assistant Black piloted seems like it would win cause it is more mobile and has better weapons. Butta vs Super Sonic, that is a good one. I think if Butta hit Sonic it would be over. But the speed aspects, I'm not sure just how fast Super Sonic is.

If I'm not mistaken that Code Geass mecha's have nukes right? I don't know a whole lot about the series but I'm been told that they can nuke other cites. I think a nuke could kill Goku from the RRA army arc. I think Butta will likely beat Super Sonic if you go by the games. I think the comic book Sonic would win since I remember the comic book Sonic being much faster and stronger (Almost nearly destroy the universe apart).

A nuclear bomb would kill anybody from Dragonball/Z/GT.

Think of this. In the Buu ark Goku as a SSJ had 3,000 kiri(and he was somewhat relaxed). And somewhere Dabura states "3,000 kiri? 200-300 can destroy a planet." (It may have been a large city). All the other Z-senshi around that time had to at least had around 100-200 kiri, I don't think a nuke would bother them.

Well the 200-300 line was filler, so it wouldn't mean much, if Rocketman only includes manga facts here.

But as we see in the Buu Arc, Pure Buu wasn't killed by having the Earth blow up in his face, so by that logic a nuke shouldn't be able to kill him either.

Heat. Ki is a lot of things, but it's not very hot. Yes, Gohan does start a fire with it in one panel, but Goten's Kamehameha doesn't set the straw roof of the Tournament building alight, so I'm inclined to say that was a special technique/focusing of ki, not a property of ki itself.

The core of the Sun, meanwhile, is about 16 million degrees Celsius. Hydrogen bombs can hit 350 million.

Basically, ki is force. You can tense your abs to help protect yourself from a punch to the gut, but the same tensing won't do anything to deflect a blowtorch.

I'm pretty sure the Buu's could survive it.

Buu died to a Spirit Bomb, which doesn't give off significant heat.

Then it probably wasn't the heat that killed him.

As you said, heat isn't the main characteristic of ki and ki attacks, so it wasn't the heat of it that did him in.

I doubt a nuke could take out Nappa.

Which also means that nobody defends against it. Whatever ki powers they have, nearly all the characters are flesh and bone. The main one that isn't, Buu, relies completely on his regeneration and the power of an H-bomb would rip his very atoms apart.

DBZ characters can take what they dish out.
A nuke can only destroy a city and it's not like its heat lasts very long, otherwise, Earth would've been destroyed in the 40s

Heat is a major property of ki, otherwise enemies like Cell wouldn't have been incinerated.

The radiation may be a problem though...
