Mehhh... Maybe a better panel will come along.
Scarz wrote:So I'm guessing at this point its going to be a retelling of the Bardock special?
The point is too see how Bardock survives. So it looks like it'll be the special, some Episode of Bardock, plus DBM's own stuff. Like maybe Goku's mom... does... something...

Also, Oozaru Toma's hand is huge.

Wookit Selypa steppin' on foo's. :3

Do they mean ten out of eleven?

Heh, yeah I was confused by that as well. Maybe Selypa meant it was beyond expectations, 110%, etc. Or she really is retarded here. :P
Rocketman wrote:Dudes, like...woah. I totally snapped this guy's neck, and there was this other guy and I killed him too. Yah.
I never imagined Toma ending a sentence with "dudes". I mean yeah we did not see much of him in the special but here it's almost as if his role was cast by Keanu Reeves (only much more expressive).

Yeah, it's so good that it goes beyond the scale.

Or maybe Saiyans just can't do maths.

Goku was shown to repeatedly have trouble with numbers...of course he was half brain damaged to begin with. =P

What a terrible Special IMO.
Out of character behaviour, Mary Sue Hanasia who inexplicably goes from nice to psycho, worse than usual dialogue, cluttered pages with tons of useless dialogue as if we are stupid and need everything spelled out, and overall a waste of time since I don't care about any of these people. Apart from Bardock and Raditz, all will be dead in a few pages, depending on how long this shitfest draws itself out. We don't need a Bardock special rewrite. We didn't need to see Goku's mother except fanservice. Just pick up where the universes split off like the other specials, and get to the point!
Simian upstart...none surpass me. No one even comes close! BURN THIS INTO YOUR MIND! I am emperor of the universe. The likes of you are only fit to grovel at my feet. Or better still...to be crushed...LIKE AN INSECT AT THE WHIM OF YOUR MASTER!

Exactly what I was going to say. Too many people toss that term around these days simply to describe a character they don't like.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I'm not sure why. Something in that specific panel makes him out of character to me. Maybe because he looks like he's eager to have fun fighting, almost like Goku.

And what isn't "badass lonewolf" about him going off to fight a strong opponent by himself?

.....okay, screw it, i'm just ask. Why do people want this "version" of Goku's mother in the tournament? Maybe i'm being selfish, but i want to continue to consider the "Multiverse canon" as my own fanon.

Yes, i would like "a" (even if just semi-)proper version of Goku's mom in it....but not this she-sasuke that nobody bothered to even give a saiyan name...

(...like freaking "Rokasia" as in "Colocasia" (or using any other combination), which is another name for "taro", that is used in a CHINESE stew along with CARROTS AND BURDOCK. Does seem that hard...Oh, well.)

Bardock then obliterated the man into ashes.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

I'm not entirely sure how to process this. It says "in the story you all know" but so far this has already departed dramatically from the Bardock special. So even though we're about to see the U3 version of what happened, what exactly are we supposed to assume happened in U18?
