As Iron Maiden hammers in my half-deaf ears, I browse Kids Biz far out-of-date Dragon Ball Z website, checking the toys they supposedly released.
These are the guys who released those figures with the guns and Kame/Kaio badges that came with the figures as stickers so you could put them on their back's. Kids Biz were an odd company, releasing figures of characters UK fans had never seen (never mind the American fans), the detail on their toys was often subpar, vehicles that look pretty interesting and do indeed look like something Akira Toriyama would designs, and a miniature figure of Mr. Satan with a Mr. T beard.
Unfortunately, most of their toys, though advertised a lot, didn't seem it to make it to the shelves. Amongst the annoying writing on their site, some of the toys I really want to own. Such as a set featuring SS3 Goku, Gogeta, Super Buu and Janemba, and a very detailed looking model of the original Dragon Ball characters riding on Shenron with Goku and Kintoun close by.
Here's their site:

AFAIK, those figures are based off French action figures.
I've seen some of them here in the Netherlands, but there weren't many released.

Weren't the first two series freebies if you collected 40 "Glenat points" (ie: defaced your tankoubon from volumes 30-37) a few years back? My friend vandalized a whole store's worth of Glenat products so that he could get both sets as well as all three Japanese models without having to rip up his own books.Ash wrote:AFAIK, those figures are based off French action figures.

FYI: The Tapion and SSJ3 Goku models looked significantly better in real life than in the photo advertisement. You'd think it'd be the other way around.
