I figured it was about time to start collecting these.
Hope you got it for a good price. They have been scarce and they just popped up on ebay for 38$ free shipping for anyone who doesn't have 2 yet now would be the chance. Says there are 8 in stock

Oh, this was a spare he got with the Jump Special from Ebay, I think, so he hasn't got an incomplete Dragon Box. It's too bad he didn't have any spares for the other boxes too. The subbing I'm doing for him isn't only for Z but for DB, GT and the Movies as well.

I got it for £9, which is about $15. Counting shipping the whole thing cost me around £14/$22.

Really nice haul, there!

I've been wanting the 2006 1/2 special for a few years now.

If anyone's interested, I'm selling the old, damaged one. PM me.

Why would someone buy a damaged set? Can't you just give it back to the store? You are just ripping someone off. :?

The Dragon Boxes are becoming harder to obtain. Not so much the one being offered for the moment, but eventually it will be hard to find as well. Though I don't think you understand the meaning of ripping someone off, as it has already been mentioned that the set is damaged. So if someone wants to buy it, its their choice, they should already be aware of what they are purchasing. It'd be a rip off if it was advertised as the set being for sale, and then only revealed to be damaged once they receive it.

Yes, this seems an odd definition of 'ripping off'. I'm sure he is offering it with a significant discount. Some people (me included) are principally concerned with the content itself so if it is significantly cheaper and it is only the box that is damaged, it would be a good deal in my book (if I was interested)!

How is he ripping someone off if he is telling potential buyers the damages before hand? I think you have a misconception on what "ripping off" means.

Anyway, finally bought the 13-CD set I've been clamoring about. Yay!

Oh ho ho ho, I just managed to snag Infinite World and Super DBZ at my local EB Games. Infinite World was $1.99, and Super DBZ was 99 cents. I may just run back later to pick up the PS2 Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for $1.99, and hopefully that'll fill out my PS2 Dragon Ball Z collection.
