Definitely. When I first read Raithos' post about it being Dragon Ball, not Z, I was really hoping they wouldn't do something like Goku, 23rd Budokai Goku, Piccolo Daimao, Piccolo, Kuririn and Tenshinhan (meaning not a ton of typical characters who can already be found in some way in Z-related figures).StarRot wrote:I’m surprised they made a Gyu Mao, but I’m glad they did – there needs to be more figures of the minor characters.
Lunch and Tao Pai Pai looks real good.

It's not that they're knock offs they're authentic, it's just that they were sent to a different market. The "Japanese versions" are considered the best quality existing for the Japanese market while Honk Kong Ver. is for the international market with standard quality. The toei stickers also come into play, read up a bit here (the stickers apply universally to Toei items.)nesguy wrote:So I'm interested in some of those Dragon Ball Kai sculpture figures that were posted about. I was looking at that inxspro.com website, but while some of the figures are listed normally, others are being listed as "HK Version".

I'm assuming that it would be a bad idea to order the HK versions, as they're probably knock-offs? Does this add any concern to ordering the ones that are listed normally?

After searching, it looks like Toywiz only has the SDCC version, so if that's the one you're after, then I'd also recommend you get it from either eBay seller ToyArena, or Anime King.ssjtrunks51 wrote:So, in my grande quest for SH figuarts, I'm tempted to buy Goku from Toywiz, though I've heard many terrible things about them. Are they as bad as I've heard?
Toywiz does have the older goku, but he's seventy dollars. Thanks for showing me those eBay sellers, but my problem is I don't want the SDCC exclusive because he's the anime colours and I want him to fit in with my others, which are the manga colours as you know, and neither Toy Arena or Anime King have the older Goku. Price isn't too important to me, and I'm willing to pay seventy for the Toywiz figure, though I'm worried about their reliability, bringing me back to the original question: Are Toywiz reliable?Metalwario64 wrote:After searching, it looks like Toywiz only has the SDCC version, so if that's the one you're after, then I'd also recommend you get it from either eBay seller ToyArena, or Anime King.ssjtrunks51 wrote:So, in my grande quest for SH figuarts, I'm tempted to buy Goku from Toywiz, though I've heard many terrible things about them. I've bought many things from Anime King in the past (including my Goku Figuarts), and I've bought the recent Mega Man X D-arts from Toy Arena, and have never had a problem with either of them.
I've heard that price is Toywiz's biggest issue, but their price is decent seemingly for the SDCC Goku Figuarts. I don't know how much shipping is there, and that may make the price higher than other places. I only bought one thing from Toywiz I believe, and I received it no issue, but I think shipping took a bit of time.
You can probably see the shipping before you place the final order at Toywiz, and if it totals to more than $60, then go with the eBay sellers I listed, as their totals are no more than $60.
I can also vouch for Anime King, amazing seller.ssjtrunks51 wrote:Toywiz does have the older goku, but he's seventy dollars. EDIT: I also just found the older 'manga goku' http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dragon-Ball- ... 0on%20ebay. He's about the same price, possibly cheaper, so I'll probably just go with him.

lol why would you do that, at most 70$ if not cheaper, 100$ from where?ssjtrunks51 wrote:Great. Now I just need to pluck up courage to spend a hundred for Gohan.
The one hundred was on amazon lol it was the cheapest I could find checking all of the ebay sellers and other stores I knew. If you know a place that has him for cheaper enlighten me please.Raithos wrote:lol why would you do that, at most 70$ if not cheaper, 100$ from where?ssjtrunks51 wrote:Great.
