The "point out errors you find" thread

Post by sangofe » Thu Aug 25, 2011 7:55 am

I just randomly spotted this line (and no, I did not try to proofread it) in the review of the Terebikko special:

Cell has arrives, and declares he will absorb Jinzôningen #17 and #18, and then defeat Son Goku.

You should remove "has" :)
"Cell arrives"

Thanks :). Sadly, things like that occasionally sneak through... Much appreciated!

That first "and" also seems a bit unnecessary to me.

While we're here (didn't wanna create a whole new thread for this), I noticed that on the Podcast page Episode #0066 has the description for Episode #0067.

Why the heck not? I've renamed the thread ^^; and while we're on topic, although it's not so official, since it's the IRC channel, the topic there says "Welcome to #daizenshuu (www.daizex.com) | NEW STUFF: Podcast Episode #0262" ...A bit outdated?

Yep. People bug us about updating the topic sometimes, and I attempt it just to show them that ChanServ will revert it back to 262.

Just noticed this on the main page from the most recent update.
Daizenshuu EX main page wrote:The standard version of "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" was also used as the opening to 2006's Sparking! NEO on the PS2 (later ported to the Wii), as well as back in 2003 for the first DragonBall Z on PS2.
The first Dragon Ball Z/Budokai on PS2 came out in 2002, not 2003.

Hm, Mike, you asked if anyone wanted to proofread that review the other day, didn't you? I found a couple of things and mentioned them in the channel, but I'm not sure you saw them, so I figured this might be a good place to post them.
<Bussani> VegettoEX: Does this sentence seem odd? "Many of these arcade game updates receives promotional videos with new animation"
<Bussani> VegettoEX: "The first standard promotional video includes is the first one released for DragonBall Heroes" that should probably be included instead of includes?

Mentioned that already on the Facebook page ;)

The Japanese version of the game, which is the one that contains "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" (as opposed to the American one with "Rock the Dragon"), was released in February 2003.

Whoops. I was thinking it was the other way around (Japan was 2002, America was 2003). I had no idea they had that "release in North America and Europe first, then Japan" way of releasing Dragon Ball video games back then.

Noticed this on the DVD guide for the Bardock and Trunks double feature:
Uncut, Bilingual (English / Japanese) with subtitles; contains two audio tracks (original Japanese, English dub with Japanese BGM); progressive, widescreen (cropped) encode
There's also an audio track with the American BGM.

People keep telling me different things about that disc. I've heard both two and three tracks, and I can't tell you how many times I've changed it.

Someone just take me a goddamn screen cap of the audio menu!

While I'm not near my disc that I can physically take a cap of the audio menu, I can direct you to a relevant exchange (involving yourself, even) of the initial conversation surrounding when the disc released and was first being dissected.

It pretty much confirms the presence of said track.

Three tracks. Original JPN, English dub with JPN BGM and American broadcast soundtrack BGM.

And I can confirm it for the BD also.
