Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
Throwing out ALL of the crappy manga numbers for the Dragon Balls is the best option IMO.
There's just no way to fit everything in otherwise unless you go for the "nobody's power was based on Ki until the Piccolo Daimao arc" approach.
Even if you think the Farmer's BP was at 1, nothing fits anyway. Piccolo Daimao's less than half-power statement and the multiple "many times stronger" statements alone are too much.
Characters should be in the tens of thousands at minimum by the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai. Probably closer to hundred thousands.

Oooooohhhh, I guess I forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me, cocoa puff.Rocketman wrote:Shotguns don't have ki, you fruit loop.
Anyway, back to what was mentioned earlier, AT didn't really spend any time calculating so that there wouldn't be irregularities, he simply meant to show the gap in power. Would have worked much better with Goku and Piccolo at 4,160 and 4,080, respectively though...
Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
Is it ok if i place Vegetto's regular form bellow SSj3 Gotenks?
Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
Gohan Buu included Super Buu (as strong as SSJ3 Gotenks), Gohan (stronger than SSJ3 Gotenks), Trunks (neglible), Goten (neglible) and Piccolo (neglible). So it's safe to assume that Gohan Buu is at least twice as strong as SSJ3 Gotenks.Son Edo wrote:Is it ok if i place Vegetto's regular form bellow SSj3 Gotenks?
If you go by the manga, it would make sense to put Vegetto below SSJ3 Gotenks, since Vegetto had to transform to be able to phase Gohan Buu.
If you go by the anime, Vegetto's base form was more than enough to handle Gohan Buu, it seemed.

I don't see why not. He could be anywhere based on his statement that he underestimated himself.Son Edo wrote:Is it ok if i place Vegetto's regular form bellow SSj3 Gotenks?
I have him 1.36x stronger than even Gohan-Boo personally.

No. No it is not.Son Edo wrote:Is it ok if i place Vegetto below Gotenks?
Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
Well, Vegetto is the basically God. Strongest character in Z by far. The anime suggests that Base Vegetto is somewhere around Buuhan, and it just feels wrong to put him below Ultimate Gohan IMO...
I think Base Vegetto ~ Buuhan, really is good, to showcase Vegetto's massive power personally. And Kaboom could probably take it from here, of how beastly Vegetto is.

Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
I've said this before, but Vegetto's power is beyond such mortal things as transformations. Infinity multiplied or divided by 50, 100, or 400 is still infinity.

You have got to stop with this shit. So Toriyama's battle power numbers are "crappy" just because they don't agree with your overly analytical, opinionated fan numbers? Do you not realize how stupid that sounds?

I have to agree. The numbers within the story are there and we should assume that they are correct, because of them holding a crucial point for the story.Piccolo Daimao wrote: You have got to stop with this shit. Also, they are contained in the original work. If we disregard them, we should as well disregard all other characters' notions about increasing/decreasing/comparison of battle powers. Because if we take them into consideration too, we have to go with Toriyama knowing what he is talking about.
I'd say that base Vegetto is greater than Buutenks in the least, since that's the latest greatest power known to Rou Kaioshin at that moment, and he assumed (if I recall correctly), that as a fused being (knowing of the results of the fusion) that Vegetto would beat Buu effortlessly. He came to find out that Vegetto was greater than he thought.p123 wrote: I think Base Vegetto ~ Buuhan, really is good, to showcase Vegetto's massive power personally. Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
I had that hunch because Daizenshuu 2 says Vegetto's Super Saiyan form is greater than any SSj3.
Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
Its more than that. Those numbers, the ones listed in the manga itself, serve as the very underlying basis and foundation for any and all Power Level-related figures and theories, official or otherwise. They're what the folks at Shueisha used to compile data and work out the other official ones. You CAN'T abandon or disregard them and still expect to have any sort of coherency or logic in your own theories. I mean, I've been around in power level-centric communities for a while now and have seen some dumb stuff, but this just takes the cake.Godo wrote:I have to agree. The exception, of course, would be if it's just a experiment of some sort. That's a horse of a different color, but if that's the case you should say so. It's hard to tell at times if or how serious anyone is with these things...
In Daizenshuu 7, it says his power is greater than a Super Saiyan 3 even BEFORE it mentions Super Saiyan for him!Son Edo wrote:I had that hunch because Daizenshuu 2 says Vegetto's Super Saiyan form is greater than any SSj3.
In the anime, Boo was starting to tear apart the universe, but Vegetto fixed it by PUNCHING HIM.

Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
The Daizenshuu also says Broly is the strongest Saiya-jin and that SSjin Gotenks is below SSjin 2 Vegeta. It shouldn't be taken that seriously IMO.Son Edo wrote:I had that hunch because Daizenshuu 2 says Vegetto's Super Saiyan form is greater than any SSj3.

Yamucha and Chaozu were flat-out stated to have surpassed Roshi by the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai and yet 5 years after that Yamucha is still only 1.27x stronger than (an apparently non-buff) Roshi.
Not to mention they imply a demon king who could casually bust cities is only 40x stronger than some random Farmer.

What about 16 being the strongest Android(Not including Cell) does that include fused 13?
Daizenshuu 2 is based on the manga, while 7 is on both.Kaboom wrote: In Daizenshuu 7, it says his power is greater than a Super Saiyan 3 even BEFORE it mentions Super Saiyan for him!

Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
That depends on your interpretation of the quote I guess. There's not really any reason to have #13 above #16 though IMO.Son Edo wrote:What about 16 being the strongest Android(Not including Cell) does that include fused 13?
#13 was actually budging ever so slightly when Kamiccolo attacked him (you can see motion lines) while #16 fought almost evenly with a guy who tanked an extremely amplified Ki blast from Kamiccolo.
Gekiretsu Kodan > Makankosappo, which itself is close to a 2x multiplier at the very least when fully charged.
#16 should probably be 3 to 5 times stronger than Kamiccolo based off of that IMO. No way would somebody that powerful budge at all from his punches.
Yamucha (23rd) > Chaozu (23rd) > Roshi and Tenshinhan (23rd) > Piccolo Daimao was stated in the manga. There's no way around that.Rocketman wrote:I don't see the problem. Maybe it works fine if you drop the MOUNTAIN TRAINING?
