Yeah, Yi Xing Long and the rest of the Evil Dragons are my favorites, they had original designs and powers(OK, some powers were used in weaker versions by some movie villain henchmen, but whatever) and then Yi Xing Long took all those powers, he wasn't just a super villain who blow up planets with his super battle power and each time upgrated regeneration, he could also regenerate, but he could control wind, fire, ice, earth, electricity, and weaken his enemies with water polution(he didn't use this, but he could do it), and the minus energy he left in Earth that could destroy the whole universe... he was the ultimate villain!InfernalVegito wrote:For me Yixinglong was the first villain that even I, the audience, feared. They way he was unpredictable and truly malevolent made him my favorite villain of all DB series.

Well Dragonball with wind, fire, ice, earth, electricity is a little of a cliche huh?
Even Saint Seiya is not that simple.
I can´t say. Never saw DB GT more than once or twice.

I'm pretty sure Kid Buu wanted to destroy existence. Same with Broli.MCDaveG wrote:Yi Shenlong was the first character, who wanted willingly to destroy the Earth only because. Cell wanted to destroy planets one by one to challenge the strongest in universe, Buu did it to destroy Goku and Vegeta...... That was the most menacing fight in the whole series for me, when I saw it in the run on TV.
Although, I will grant that he was the first villain of that caliber who was intelligent.

Maybe I should have re-worded that. For me, I feel that Sparking Meteor was the ultimate Dragon Ball game. But I know many feel the video game franchise had started going downhill at other points before that. I guess I could be wrong, but I thought us Meteorites were in the minority as far as that's concerned.Rory wrote:I'm pretty sure you're not alone there, at all.Sinestro wrote:I know I'm in the minority in this, but every game after Sparking Meteor feels like a letdown to me.

The problem is that they bloated the character list by splitting the same character into 3 different forms. Its cool an all to have 3 different DBZ Gokus not to mention the Gt and Db forms. I wonder how much would BT3 Character list would go down if we removed the excess saga split forms. Probably not much.

I'm definitely a Meteorite. That game was/is so good and is the only Dragon Ball game I've ever played (over fifty and counting) consistently since release.Sinestro wrote:Maybe I should have re-worded that. I'm quite puzzled why this game was advertised as a return to the "Tenkaichi" style, when it's nothing like Sparking! or Raging Blast. That was probably an oversight/error on the American publishers (considering the game uses 'Blast' instead of 'Tenkaichi' in Japan), but it seems stupid and a huge letdown.

I dunno, it'd be cut down by quite a bit though. I honestly think they didn't make good use of their UT/UB roster slots. Even using the base 41, they could have easily made pretty much everyone happy had Spike or Namdai (whoever was pulling the roster strings) just used their head. Without removing a single character they added, here's a 41 base list I'd have been happy with:Saimaroimaru wrote:The problem is that they bloated the character list by splitting the same character into 3 different forms. This roster is astoundingly dumb. No Goten, Kid Trunks, Videl, or many other characters of importance but Cui makes it in and three Vegetas? You couldn't cut him or merge the Vegetas or maybe just examine your priorities a bit, Spike? Wow. My interest in this game is just completely shot.
Hey, I entirely forgot I had an account here. AGAIN.

Re: DBZ: Ultimate Blast/Tenkaichi (Pre-Release Discussion)
So I was thinking while watching character creator, How awesome would it be if you and your friend could play on the same team vs the other team. And you two could fuse your created characters, And they would become a single being like some kinda new bad ass character. I think that would be awesome
Even though it will never happen. it would still be cool. Also when it comes to two people fighting with one character. Just have a time limit set to each player that way both can fight with him instead of one.
What do you guy's think about that?
Also I hope in this game they do something awesome with yamcha's wolf fang fist. Like in the jump special or the 10th anniversary dragonball movie the path to power

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Re: DBZ: Ultimate Blast/Tenkaichi (Pre-Release Discussion)
It unpractical. There was a similar conversation awhile ago with DBO. If anything, let players fuse their characters through some feature, and it turns into a transformation and treated as such but the fusion sequence would still play when activated in battle. As for what the fusion would look like depending on the method the looks would be randomized based on what used to create each character and can be refused/redone to get whatever mixed you want till you are satisfied. The fusion vest for fusion dance with the color of the vest customizable and a random mix of clothes and color if the potara fusion was used. Each player gets their own copy to name and edit.samuraix123 wrote:So I was thinking while watching character creator, How awesome would it be if you and your friend could play on the same team vs the other team. It's not perfect, but I'd be happy enough to tolerate it and buy the game. At the very least, I'd have liked to squeeze in Future Gohan (Base and SS), Mecha Freeza, Dabra, Tullece, Coola (Final and Transformed), Mecha Coola, Pan, Uub (Base and Super), San Xing Long and Si Xing Long as well...but it wasn't possible, of course. lolDBZGTKOSDH wrote:Oh God, I would love this roster!
