I like all the changes FUNimation did with their dub, the pronunciation of Kaio-ken as Kay-o-ken, the added dialogue when characters backs are turned to the screen or just off screen. The Johnson and Faulconer music, ETC. Also, I love the orange brick quality, those are my Dragon Boxes.

What? You mean to say you love an extremely noticeable cropped picture, over saturation and DVNR till the image looks flat and blurry? I guess there's nothing wrong with having an opinion, and that's what this thread is for, but wow. I also like the Faulcner score, but I'm relying on the blu-ray releases for that. Maybe you would be more interested in those?

Nope, I don't care about HD for this series, crappy animation is still crappy animation no matter what the quality is like.

Well crappy animation (which it isn't) + shitty re-mastering = even more of a horrible viewing experience, so where's the logic in that? And what do you have against HD? Kai in HD looks pretty fantastic to me!

Probably that Dragon Ball wasn't made in HD and therefore wasn't meant to be seen in HD.
That's how I feel, at least.
So mondo lame.

Dragon Ball wasn't meant to have a home release either...

My biggest guilty pleasure is easily the Ocean dub. I have others (some Faulconer music, some filler, and some corny lines) but that one is easily my biggest. It is partially nostalgia and partially a legitimate enjoyment of some of the actors, music, and overall cheesy 90's feeling.

I have discovered another guilty pleasure of mine: listening to DragonBall music while at the gym. (Some of the various BGM and vocal songs can really get me fired up)
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Agreed. I love to work out to Dragonball!
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Some of Bruce Faulconer's score is a guilty pleasure at times.

My own guilty pleasure in Final Bout was beating an AI opponent down by holding forward and hitting punch, causing the opponent to constantly get hit, fall down, get up, repeat, until he was dead. Now, do this in that "Character Builder" mode thing, with a newly-made character going up against a max-level opponent...

... The Speedy VCD Dub of Movie 12 is so great at being bad, too.

Mine is of course watching DBZ Linkin Park Amvs, the raging blast and Tenkaichi Budokai series of games, and movies 9-12 I all loved. But I did watch the anime first. In particular the Buu Saga when it was airing on Cartoon Network in the late 90's i believe.

Guilty pleasure?
I'ma have to go with the stationery music scene in Worlds Strongest. The hell were they smoking when they made that?

EDIT: And this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHdC3G45 ... re=related
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

Probably the Dub of Movie 12. Not sure if that's a guilty pleasure or not.

And I, too, have worked out to Dragon Ball music.

I suppose liking the dub score for the music itself with the exception of a few moments via the Toonami broadcast/Season sets counts? I also liked various parts of the dub with Clarke and Huber.
