This. Doesn't really even look like a fight.

It's unlikely Bardock wants to hurt Vegeta. He'll want him to be at his best when they launch their rebellion. I'm guessing Bardock isn't so much trying to stomp Vegeta but put up enough of a fight to earn Vegeta's respect and get him to listen.

But it totally reminded me of this:

That last panel is kind of terrible...
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Yeah... that ki-blast was kind of a let down.

Quite anti-climatic and yeah I agree with all of you who say that the characters are way too stiff looking for such an action scene. :? Then again I cannot draw worth spit so who am I too judge.

Well, it's still not that hard to make the ki-blast a little bigger.

Maybe he wanted to show Vegeta that he is so much stronger that one small ki blast of his is enough to bring him down. Or it's a decoy.

So I guess Bardock used his "Makankosappo-tiny!"-attack.

Yeah, I watched DBZ episode 4 today, so King Vegeta losing part of his armor reminded me of the Raditz fight.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

I wonder if this special will warrant a third chapter. I don't know if they can do the whole rebellion and the rest of the U3 stuff in 15 pages. Also, according to the DBM website, there will be a U8 (Freeza) special! There will also be a U4 (Super Buu) special, and apparently two U13 (Super Saiyans) special.

Raichi, Tapion, and Shadow Man seem to be so unrelated they might need their own stories. So I wouldn't be surprised to see at least three more U3 specials. I really don't mind, either. At least they'll be original.

Fight is kind of disappointing but I get the idea. Even the strongest fighter will be surpassed if they just sit on their butt and give orders for a long time.

Yes, yes it was. A reply containing a direct response to content found in the latest GTR replies is clearly out of place in a Multiverse topic... lol Wouldn't this have made more sense? 8)

At the rate I've got it going now... yeah, it actually may be.

The only reason it has a chance is because it's going to be short. Like, maybe 10 pages, not at all like the 30-page behemoth that was the finished Chapter 13.
I hate short chapters and the writers who write them.

Haha, nah Sean, I'm just not even kidding.

No, but really, more frequent chapters are fun. Glad to hear it won't take four months this time, looking forward to it.

I will murder you dead.
On topic with the Multiverse though... Um. Vegeta's last "attack" kind looked like a Power Ball, would have been interesting to see a bunch of monkeys jumping around because the king got desperate.
