I haven't actually seen Future Cops, but as I understand it, (spoiler warning) Gokuu shows up at the end.

MovieBob talked about it on his show, The Big Picture.

So all new Raging Blast 2 copies have BT2 music on it instead of the old soundtrack?

I don't know how I didn't think of that before..... of course Yamamoto has been the composer for so much Dragon Ball video game music over the years, and video games should be affected as well. It's pretty clear that Shueisha/whoever is responsible for this is trying to kind of "wipe their hands" of Yamamoto as much as they can. I wonder how long the copies with edited music have been around since.

What was that "I'd rather not say, Mike." bit at the end?!

Mike: "Siri do you like Dragon Ball?"
Siri: "I'd rather not say Mike"

I loved that piece at the end.

I am disappointed that there is probably not going to be a Dragon Ball Blast demo since I haven't bought any of the Dragon Ball console games this generation but I always do enjoy actually playing the demo for the games to see what they will be like. I have rented all of them though.

Thanks once again for answering my question on the podcast. I enjoyed this weeks podcast as usual.

"when he used it against Vejito when he was Oozaru" (roughly 31:35)

Thinking of yourself there, Mr. EX? ;)

I would love to see a BGM guide and a section on unreleased tracks in particular. I ripped some pieces I liked off of YouTube, but I really have no idea what was and wasn't actually released beyond the collections you can find online (such as the 5 CDs that have been out forever) and I have no idea if GT even had an official OST released. :S

I'll probably get Ultimate Blast at some point, though I'm still waiting for the full roster. Really wondering if something like SSJ Bardock will be in there, but it might be just the GT characters that are "new" (Budokai Tenkaichi 3's roster still blows everything else out of the water).

I'm assuming you haven't been to the forum's Ultimate Blast thread? Don't get your hopes up... No SS Bardock, and only SS4 Gogeta and Super Yi Xing Long from GT.

The forums is being goofy, the links to specific posts don't seem to be working, but here: http://daizex.fanboyreview.net/viewtopi ... 75#p497075 Look for my post at the top of page 150 for the character list if something decides to scre up...

The link seems to work. If that's really the full roster, that's both disappointing and hard to understand. :( It shouldn't be that much effort to transfer characters from one game to the next and at this point fans really want a roster as complete as it can get. What's your source, because as far as I know the game isn't out yet anywhere?

French game journalists who played the final version, with everything unlocked, on Namdai's "Appreciation/Test Day" thing. They posted a video of the roster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t0E0FJSskc That's not the original account, but it's the same video regardless. They did the same thing last year and revealed the final roster slots for RB2.

Perhaps there will be DLC, but I'm never a fan of that when it comes to entire characters. Either way I'll definitely reconsider a purchase, especially with so many great games out in this time of year. It'll still be worth it for newcomers probably, but they're not doing themselves any favours with the hardcore fanbase.

And still no mention of Dragonball's Cantonese redub.

I searched on their website, and found no mention of DragonBall. I took a look around on other sites, and only found passing mentions of it, but nothing concrete.

Granted, I'm not fluent in Cantonese, so I'm probably missing something. What am I missing? Where is it? No-one's actually pointed me to anything yet...!

At least with some of that Yamamoto/music stuff I can point to videos and legitimate mentions of things, even if I couldn't verify the contents, myself. With the other Kai news, there were actual videos and news postings on websites. This Cantonese thing is just you telling me stuff over and over.

There are actual video clips of the new dub posted on the forum. Currently, TVB is in its 3rd week of airing the Dragonball redub so they should be on episode 14 today. I've also noticed that the video is cropped from all 4 corners of the screen upon comparing it to the old Cantonese dub so there is a possibility that this new redub is sourced from Funimation's blue bricks. This is also the first time Dragonball is shown uncut for the Cantonese speaking region since it was heavily cut when it first premiered in Hong Kong during the late 80s. (The ridiculous amount of edits was inevitable at the time due to it being scheduled at 4:30pm interluding a kids program.) Also, it's now shown twice every weekday. Monday-Friday on 9pm and 5am (?).

You can actually tune into the J2 channel through the internet via http://mybe.tv
Oh, and also, TVB is finally using the original OP and ED. It's also credit-less.
It also appears that TVB won't be touching Dragonball Kai until they are through with Dragonball.

There's also this thread on the forum for more concrete proof.

then don't , i never asked anybody to bother with something like that.

i simply meant" when do you think you will have a copy of the current BD release to review"
