What works on that forum won't necessarily work on this forum. I think every forum has their own "formula" that just makes a forum work like it does. In other words, introducing a +1 system wouldn't "barely affect" this forum, at least I don't think it would. On the contrary, it would probably affect this forum a lot more than you would think. It would screw up that formula.
Also, let's be honest here. Very, very few members on this forum write things like only "LOL". Heck, even the majority of the new members don't do that. Besides, we already have the red text of death for that anyway.
