:? They let a Linda Young laugh slip in:

@ 5:16. Must've decided to recycle a voice clip thinking no one would notice.
Just a little side note, but I think the menus and the menu music is insanely spectacular. Glad we also get 'Cha-La! Head Cha-La!' as well, although most Americans know it from 'DBZ Abridged' rather than regular DBZ. :P

EDIT: Just a quick music related comment. The in-game music is a little generic but I've found a few tunes I really like (the ones that were used in the trailers), oh, and is the guy that's composing for the cut scenes the same guy who did 'Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans'?

Also, the first animated cutscene in the game is at 05:47, which confirms that the cutscenes in the game are dubbed and not just subtitled.
There are two things I'm not sure about: the Freeza's animation and the dub voice acting. Freeza looks kinda weird. I'm not really sure if the dub's good or bad. What do you guys think?

I definitely prefer this dub Freeza over the last. It's not exactly identical to the Japanese voice, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. Not to mention, he's just a good voice actor overall.

In any case, I keep seeing people online with all this enthusiasm over this game... which I think is a bad thing, to be honest. I'd like them to continue developing Dragon Ball games, but with these cheap tactics they've been delivering, it will only encourage the mediocrity!

It's definitely Linda's voice for the laughs during the Death Ball countering Bardock's attack...

We've seen them be lazy since before RB1 was released, but since I wasn't on daizex before RB1 was released, I can't really say when this started. But still, guys, come on. Sure, you can be excited, right on. But my point it, did you really expect anything different from Spike? Sure, character creator is new, sure, cool. The combat system is even more retarded from the last two. As far as I can tell. You can't even dodge super attacks anymore. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that little slow motion thing when you are you're opponent are close to each other and someone has to push a button pretty much a rock-paper-scissors game? Someone tell me how this game is somehow different at all from the last few games. I don't just mean some feature, I mean how this whole game is different from the past two because honestly, I'm just not seeing it.
I can't tell you since I don't have it. Sorry. I maybe disappointed in what is revealed but I will withhold final judgment till I play the game myself.

No matter how many times I see the new opening I must admit I do get very excited. :D
I haven't watched any of the gameplay videos yet beyond Son Goku vs Vegeta because I want to wait until i'm playing the story mode myself to see the cutscenes.

It's also a relief to see Cha-La-Head-Cha-La used in (it would seem) all version of the game.
I read Europe was going to be getting it but the US was possibly going to have to endure "Rock the Dragon" or something.

Maybe they left the laugh in as Linda as Linda did the laugh in Kai during that scene!

Or maybe not

Wow I would not have believed that even the main selling points of the game in my opinion could deter me from buying the game.

So, judging by the gameplay I've seen, this game is a buch of QTE's and some fighting. Nice work Spike. You have surpassed DIMPS in the laziness department. I hope you're proud of yourselves. I sure am.

Seriously, this game doesn't look fun at all. I'd probably have more fun playing RB2. I know most of you will be all like: "NOOOOO! THE GAME HAS A CHARACTER CREATOR AND YOU CAN'T SPAM SUPERS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!" Which, fine, the fact that you can't spam supers pleases me but if I have to press a button just to avoid it, then no, it's still a terrible system. I think if characters can just dodge it in the Anime, let us do that in the game. I wouldn't mind the QTE's if the blast was maybe 10 feet from you, but if it's on the other side of the stage, that's just stupid. Also, the character creator doesn't change an entire game. You're still playing the same game you've been playing for two years, except now, you can make your own character which, despite having different fighting styles is still in the same game that we've all been playing for a while now. I don't understand why just because they added some new features it makes it an entirely different game, because it doesn't.

For example: Sonic Generations will still play the same as Unleashed/Colo(u)rs, with some tighter controls and with Classic Sonic, but the reason I want to play that is because the demo has shown me that the level design is fun, and the story, while being a Sonic game, is new and interesting. Now I know I've gone on about this, but I'm just proving a point. Despite these two games playing the same, one of them has different level design, a new plot, and some really fun gameplay. The other is the same story, which, is okay I guess, but the gameplay has been changed a bit and it looks worse due to that. Those reasons are what's turning me off from Ultimate Tenkaichi.

Long posts are awesome to type.

Sonic games and Dragonball games are nothing alike so your comparison is pointless.

I also don't think anyone here is under any illusion that this is a different game to RB 1 & 2.
Where people differ is weather the changes are good or bad.
If you don't like this game then don't buy it.
Simple as that really.

They might not be alike, but they sure are a good comparison when you're comparing games that have been the same for a while. Also, who the hell are you to tell me not to voice my opinion. Maybe you can get your head out of your own ass and accept other people's opinions. It's my opinion of why I don't want to buy the game and I was saying that I didn't like what they changed. Probably going to be useless arguing to you since you'll probably respond with "Ok" since I can tell that's how you are, but if you don't like my opinion, don't respond to it.

I was not trying to upset you.
You're perfectly entitled to your own opinion.
I'm just a bit annoyed with all the negativity before the game has been released that's all.

Sorry my friend. :)
