How many frames does the intermission sequence/eye catch go for?

Also could somebody please upload a lossless video lasting roughly 3-5 seconds that shows raditz's scouter where the detail is lost? I would like to play around with the video and see what I can do with it.

After watching the intro I feel this footage is very inconsistent. Some scenes looked crisp and sharp. Absolutely gorgeous. But others looked jittery and well...like crap.

If you are referring to the mountains 30 sec in. Then I have never seen that part look good. I think its because there were so many layers of film or sheets when it was being made.

It was more that the clip was availalbe for download than it being posted at all, I think. If it were up on Youtube it'd be fine.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
No, it's the entire thing. Literally, I can see a quality shift from scene to scene.

Kinda with jjgp112 on this one. I sometimes get a little bit frustrated on how nitpickey people can be on this forum. But man, this is kind of....unreasonable.

Disregarding an entire HD release, one that's been apparently proven as the best the series has ever look, all because the title scene looks different? Seems kind of silly.

I think people are asking not for the same thing available for download, but different clips to be put on youtube... even if it's not lossless it would be a fair indication of the colors.

For what it's worth, even if it did have the Japanese title cards & credits and NEPs, I most likely would've given this release a pass, anyway. I'm happy with my Dragon Boxes and have no need (or desire) to rebuy the DBZ series ever again.

I don't like the idea of leaving out the Japanese title cards for this release. But, those screen shots do look really awesome. I'm gonna get this set and just suck it up. I mean, if you just have it set to Japanese audio anyway, you will see the Japanese title in the subtitles.

It might not be exactly what some people want but sure, I'll support this release.

To clarify.

The thing he posted was not a link to Youtube. He stripped a video file out of the BD structure and uploaded it for people to download.

Youtube links to clips should be fine.

Judging the disk off Youtube clips is sort of dumb though, as they've been heavily re-compressed.

Yes, I did strip the files out of the Blu ray.
