My Dad- Keeps asking why I keep watching "Pokemon"

It's nice that your mother is able to partake in your interests. In terms of DB, I never had Cartoon Network or more than four terrestrial channels, so I never got to watch DB on TV. My mum normally just bought DB stuff and didn't really comment on it. My dad was the same. My brother and sister didn't really take that much notice of it either, although my sister did once play Budokai 2 with me and bought me my first DB manga volume. My brother used to play Shin Budokai on my PSP until I broke, but whenever I remind him of it, he just denies it, assumedly out of embarrassment.

Well the one time my mom decided to watch DBZ with me, it just so happened to be the bit when Spovovich was practically breaking Videl in half, and Videl was screaming bloody murder. It also didn't help that one of the characters just happened to be named Satan.
My sister thinks it's stupid and makes fun of the way Bulma talks.
Every time my dad sees anything anime, he always say "When are these goddam Japs gonna learn how to draw?".

Sigging this, definitely.
My dad- "What the-! He's been trying to block that energy ball [Genki Dama] for 5 episodes!"
My mom- "I used to let you watch this when you were 7? This is too violent for a kid!"
My big sister- "Why not watch in English (I try to explain). The voices aren't that bad in English. Why are all the guys voiced by women?"
...Yeah.

Yeah, I'm somewhat glad I have parents who could care less about my interests, as long as they're not bad. And if they know what they are, like my father puts every anime in the category of "Jap shows" or "Pokemon". but usually, it's all good.

My 60 year old father likes DragonBall Z. We watched through the first US DragonBox Z and a bit of the second one not too long ago.

My mom doesn't care what I watch and doesn't have any real interest in watching it
My dad used to critisize it when it was on cartoon network
My brother sorta likes it but he's not really bothered about watchng it
My sister is busy with her own things
My step dad don't care
My step brother likes anime/manga but dislikes Dragonball
none of my friends are interested in anime so I watch it alone.

Me, my mom, and my brother would watch DBZ together, I forget whether or not she actually gave a shit about it, but she seemed to be pretty absorbed in it. One time, she watched an episode of Naruto, and knew from the start that he was basically a rip-off of Vegeta.
The last time my mom watched anything cartoon-related was Cowboy Bebop. My mom has a strange taste in televison. One moment she's watching a kid's cartoon, the next she's watching MTV.

My dad used to watch it with me and my little brother. I remember him buying the edited VHS tapes for the Majin-Boo arc when they were coming out. We still have most of them, I think. XD

My cousin has been watching Kai and the Movies on Nicktoons, he told me that he never knew there were so many movies, and he'll ask me other questions like why Mystic Gohan doesn't go Super Saiyan, what the official name for "steroid mode" is etc.
This is the episode of when Gokuh enrages himself after Freezer talk shit about Kuririn

Sasuke is not a Vegeta rip off at all...have you ever even read the manga?

Yes I have, and I agree that a lot of the characters in Naruto are very unlike the characters in Dragon Ball, but he's pretty much the closest person in the series to being a Vegeta ripoff, if anybody.

How could Vegeta be a Sasuke ripoff...when Dragon Ball Z ended 2 years before Naruto even began...? That don't make no sense, Jethro.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

No... I'm saying that he was possibly implying that Sasuke was a Vegeta ripoff.

Well, my moms opinions on Dragon Ball, which I used to watch in Japanese..... I don't like how it's drawn. Why are they screaming all the time?

The very first image my parents got of Dragonball was Vegeta knocking Trunks out and punching Goten in the gut.
So nope. They didn't care that I watched it but they don't want to watch it themselves. :P
(Good thing it wasn't Roshi grabbing 18's tits or it'd've been banned.)

I never watched with my mom, but she knew I liked it and was ok. Though I was wondering about her when I saw the ep of Buu's defeat and when the Spirit Bomb was initially thrown at him I yelled at the tv, "Now die you son-of-a-bitch! Die!" I then covered my mouth realizing what I said and lucky for me, my mom wasn't home. For if she was, there would've been a big hand imprint on my face for days.

My mum and dad honestly didn't/don't care xD
They never had a problem with me watching programs with some 'adult' themes (hell I used to watch The Godfather, The Sopranos etc with my Dad lol).
My big sister commented recently about it and her reaction was like 'omg' because she remembered it being on CN before/after she watched the Powerpuff Girls haha.
