It was never an issue as the only Dragon Box material FUNimation acquired was for Dragon Ball Z and the DBZ movies. It was never implied in a FUNimation announcement that Dragon Ball or GT would follow, it was just assumed to be the case by others. FUNimation may surprise us, but it's best to never expect an unannounced product.

How long has Volume 7 been unavailable from Amazon?!

I have credit there, and was going to go ahead and grab it instead of waiting until Christmas... But if they're out of print, I don't know if I want to risk it.
Box 7 is in plentiful supply on Amazon.ca, perhaps your credit will be valid there.

They're not out of print/stock on Amazon. They're just investigating customer complaints. Which is probably people complaining about the way they are shipped, as some get scratched or banged up during shipping.

When I first got my Dragon-box(ordered from walmart) there was a cut at the top of the box and i felt so sad it wasn't bad but still :( But at-least the discs weren't defected :D But i just ordered Dragon-box 2 off Ebay so I'm happy :D
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Good place I got my First 6 DBOX from there and Brought my DBOX 7 from amazon.com priority international. I recently also brought their last copy of Tree of Might/Lord Slug Steel book arrived today pretty happy as it becoming rare now. In fairness DBOX 2 has been out of print since just before or just after DBOX 6 was released they just never before admitted to them being out of print.

Logically I would say yes at the moment with the movie packs they trying make a bit more money of the Steel Book Masters. I expect when those have been fully released we will get a release date for Dragon Box Z Movies. It good busy sense on there part and I would do the same in there position. Just annoying for the fans I hope this answers your question.

Will Funimation get Dragon Box versions of DB and GT in the future? It will be great if they do that.

I doubt it from what we are currently seeing but it is possible in the future. It depends It could happen I know Funimation still have about 2-3 years left with Toei for the complete DB/Z/GT It would be nice if we got, a Jump Anime Special dub and finally get a Plan to Eradicate the saiyans dub, but I like the Japanese versions. I just would prefer home releases if that makes sense. I hope I have helped you It would be nice see them and they probably could get the masters for them from Toei it just depends on if they think it will be worthwhile. DBZ has always been the main one but I know I was shocked two years ago when they announced they had got and were releasing so we might get another shock.

I wish people would read the whole thread since that question has been asked multiple times now.

Anyway, I am almost tempted to quickly buy a second set to have sealed, but I don't have the money right now, and besides, I already have a full set. I don't want to be too greedy when I already have all of them, and some people now have to rush to complete their sets. But still, it's not like I'd lose any money by buying a second set..... 8)

Well, back into the Disney... er, FUNi Vault they go

Ordered #5 today. Need to get the last two soon... I hate doing this since I haven't even managed to watch all of what I currently own, but I'd rather get them cheap now than risk paying full (or higher) price later.

That seems pretty pointless in my opinion. The Steel Books sold quite well from what I can tell. Why spend the money on the Dragon Box footage when you're going to try and further push a release you already made your money off of?

What I saying is they are double dipping making money twice as the movie packs are just repackaged steel books. After the sale of those goes ahead than they will start selling the Dragon Box Movies it will make them more money probably It a good business idea really.

The real reason for the shortage is that I bought all the Dboxes and built a house with them.

But in all seriousness, I'm glad I got them all when they were new.

Or treat your current boxes like cheap glass. I've said it before, but I've only removed just enough plastic wrap to remove the disc cases and DBook. My Box 1 has literally had the plastic cover it came in on since January. Aside from a laptop drive jam getting my Box 1 Disc Four slightly scratched (Oh, burn...), I'm pretty darn dainty with them to.

If you want my opinion, I think you should get Box 5 just to complete the whole thing with Cell and then get the other two for christmas like you said.

Anyway I'm real glad I ordered my Dragon Box 6 today. I can't wait to get it and I have no idea why I got Dragon Box 7 first. Guess I just liked that Goku SSJ picture better.

Well, I checked earlier, and Dragon Box 7 seems to have been recalled from Amazon.
While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)

We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible.
Soooo what the hell. I definitely don't feel like paying the $44 pricetag from RightStuf.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I already have my DBOX 7 and got it from Amazon, but regardless isn't this like the 3rd time that Amazon put that for DBOX 7. What was the problem last time?
